Very nice hotel, friendly staffing, comfortable rooms, convenient location

Great location in a very quiet neighborhood. Proprietor was very nice and provided excellent service.

Need some new pillows.

Fabio, the proprietor, was kind, friendly,and helpful. He helped to make Genoa accessible to us. He was Fabulous!

Everything was perfect for us

The location is perfect 10/10, not busy and quiet, with a street parking available ( free on holidays), and is in 15 mins of walk or less to the center of Genoa, but also to beautiful parks 2 mins walk. The building of the hotel and it's rooms have a charm of rich history of Genoa, but equipped with a comfortable mattress. some features provided in the room could qualify even for 4*., which were greatly appreciated. The owner Fabio was extremely friendly and hospitable, and helped in finding the best options for dining available last minuts ( in the new year eve!!!). We can't recommend enough Actor Hotel, it is simply the best customer service experience we had in Europe. Thank you so much Fabio and your team. Happy New Year again , wishing you a great success and prosperity to your passionate business!

The staff was really friendly and welcoming, always greeting with a smile and trying to help as much as possible. The breakfast is simple but includes some good local tasty fresh products.

The mattress was not the best, but also not bad, just ok.

Was a good location. Lovely and quiet with air conditioning. Check-in and check out were easy. Local restaurant recommendations were fantastic. You can leave luggage if needed.

An iron and ironing board and the ability to make tea or coffee in the room would be great.

The hotel was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner went above and beyond in helping us. We were able to add on breakfast for a small charge, which was a high standard. Couldn't recommend more!

I think the mattress where I slept might need replacing, but it doesn't seem to affect the quality of my sleep.

The hotel is very nice. Owner is so kind , helpfull . Location is perfect very close to main street of Genova. You can walk easily to center. The room is very clean and new decorated. Everythink was perfect.

We chose this hotel based on the good reviews found here and we are happy to say we had the same positive experience as the others. We felt really comfortable in our room and loved the somewhat old style but still fresh decoration, actually the whole hotel is charming in this way. The room was perfectly cleaned and very well insulated, two pretty hard things to find! We could also heat it to our liking and even the floor was warm, a delight for our feet. The owner was very kind and friendly, as others said before, we could feel that he really likes what he is doing and cares for us to have a nice stay. We did not have the breakfast so cannot comment on that. Location was pretty good, within ten minutes walking distance to the center. Overall we had a very nice stay in all the comfort, for this reason I give a 10 to this hotel and I would choose to stay here again if coming back to Genova. A warm thank you to the hotel staff to put such effort in making this place nice.

The room was super nice, clean, and spacious. The bathroom was massive, and they provided everything you need! Also, we requested breakfast, and it was very nice – fresh Italian products, a delightful cappuccino, eggs, and amazing juice.The main highlight of this hotel is the kindness of the owner. He was super kind, and you can tell he loves his job. We would be super happy to come back to this hotel! Thanks!

We liked everything.

If you go to Genoa you should stay in Actor Hotel which is close to city center (Piazza de Ferrari-10 minutes by walk) and harbor and 15minutes by walk to Brigniole train station. Room and bathroom are big enough. The room was cleaned every day:) Wi-Fi is good, the owner is very nice and helpful person.You can also drink tea or coffee in bar at reception.

The location was perfect. Easy to walk to all the sights. The host coffee as gracious and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed including a map, umbrella, coffee, etc. It was easy to take bus to and from train station. Highly recommend!!

I had such a comfortable stay in this hotel. Such great hosts Fabio and Lena are such nice people and made me feel like family.
