Lack of attention to detail with cleanliness. Lots of dust around windows and base of formerly sliding doors.

Cleaner's were making lots of noise early in the morning even knocking at the door ignoring the sign of don't disturb.

It’s a great location.

Our room smelled like a dirty bathroom. The open plan doesn’t work if bathrooms are not cleaned properly. It stunk so bad that I couldn’t even eat my food in there.

It was ok.

I booked for 2 Adults, but preparations were done for one person. For example, one chair and so on.

The room was big enough to accommodate all of us and the accessories were very good

The carpet was not clean and also the lifts had bad smell

Position was good, very close to the Airport, nice venue part of the casino complex.

The soiling on the bed in room 4467 was quite substantial, marked by numerous stains. Illumination from the outside streamed through the doorway, flooding the room with light and hindering rest. Regrettably, the mattress in our accommodation fell short of expectations, exhibiting signs of age and discomfort. On a brighter note, the children's single beds were satisfactory.

I loved the atmosphere. The hotel offers all the bells and whistles of the hospitality world.

A suggestion would be to change the chairs of the dinning area. It was also not clear where to find detailed information about the amenities and where the locations of certain areas are. I found it eventually on the back of my room key card which was not pointed out to me at check in.

I love the fact that we are accommodated with a smoking room every time we stay at the Metcourt at Emperors Palace. The staff is always friendly and helpfull.

The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet.

I had over $1000.00 US dollars in South African Rand stolen out of my bag in the coat-check when I left my bags to go into the casino.

The staff and the cleanliness. The cleaning staff were exceptional as well as front desk.

Everything was just perfect. They transferred us to their 5 stars facility, D’Oreal at the same cost. Room was great, breakfast was wonderful. Coffee machine and capsules are always at the room. Location is amazing you don’t need to go out. Food court is there.

Easy 5-10 minutes to/from the terminal by free shuttle bus, and close to restaurants near the casino. Quiet, even with proximity to the airport.

Light fixtures were either poor or not working in the bathroom area (shower light out, and light by sink either not working properly, or just naturally extremely dark). Only stayed one night so didn't bother too much.

Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful Accommodation was clean but very dated.Very easy to get to from the airport shuttle which was a free facility.The breakfast was excellent, literally the best egg station with variety

The hotel room is reasonably sized. Shower and toilet was clean and the shower was quite good, especially after a long flight. Breakfast, not amazing, but ample.

the worst aspect of staying here is that the shuttle doesn't run 24-7 despite being this close to the airport. If you arrive after 11, you are dependent on unscrupulous taxi drivers that charge you sometimes up to $30 plus just to drive around from the airport to the hotel, which is probably not even a kilometre. This could all be alleviated and the stay at Metcalfe improved greatly by adding a 24-hour shuttle.

Bad

Looks nothing like the photos. Uncomfortable bed. Roaches in room. Restroom terrible. Never again.

The location . Close to International airport.

The room was small and too basic for the price. The bathroom really uncomfortably small. Not even a small refrigerator in room.Upon arrival we asked for a later check out but it was declined. The reception staff said we have to pay ZAR 250 per hour extra. Really!
