- Fantastic overall experience this place offers both adventure and relaxation. Highlights include: Two game drives a day with the most passionate and fabulous guide, Christelle you couldnt wish for better. A great team at the lodge, from the gardeners and housekeepers to the cooks and business operators. Wonderful breakfast, lunch and diner, including accommodations for people with dietary restrictions. A customized stay, whether youre visiting with friends, colleagues, as a couple, or on your honeymoon. This lodge is very eco-friendly, and they are continuously working on expanding the guest experience. Due to strict park regulations, the pool is rather small, but its perfect for cooling down. Additionally, youll find indoor and outdoor showers in your lodge. Do bring a book or twobetween game drives, the peaceful surroundings invite you to unwind. Hoedspruit Airport is relatively close by, making arrivals and departures convenient. The 3-4 planes that fly by in the early afternoon are hardly noticeable. Rooms are very clean, and taken care of twice a day when on safari. The lodge is well protected, felt very safe during day and night time. With stunning views of the riverbanks, you might see various animals pass by while dining or relaxingmaking this a place to remember.
- Nyala Safari Lodge was superb - the Guide, Christelle, was knowledgeable and attentive to her guests. The Managers, Dave and Nicki, were also amazing! It was a great way to spend a wedding anniversary.
- The property is beautiful. You dont see a lot of other cars around which makes the game drives very special. We had some really amazing sightings (thanks Hannes!) including leopards, lions and a herd of buffalo moving to water whilst we waited for them in the watch tower with beers in hand. Thanks everyone for an amazing stay!
