Pros +
- The view from the restaurant was very beautiful and the lounge area was very comfortable. The breakfast was ok but not worth the price. The staff was nice.
- Stunning location, good breakfast, nice staff, nice building and communal area, comfortable bed.
- Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Got a ride to my first hiking trail without asking and a to-go breakfast for my early morning check-out that much appreciated! Special kudos to Carlos.
Cons -
- We had to change rooms due to smell from tobacco in first room. Second room much improved but still had cigarette smell.
- The room wasn´t great, it was very old and a bit uncomfortable, with mold in some spots. The shower head was extremely small. The breakfast didn´t have a lot of variety. The dinner was ok but too expensive for what it was.
- Mould in bathroom. Very polluted air due to chimneys burning directly beneath balcony - if you have a room with a view, you will suffer from the fumes even with windows shut. Also wish staff would lift and move furniture as it's not great being woken up to the scraping and banging of big tables and chairs every morning.

Well located, frindly and helpfull
Smoke from downhill chimneys
View, comfortable bed
Staff were not very friendly or even round very much. All seemed a bit tired and lacking in any enthusiasm and uninterested in our presence. It was out of season (late March) . No atmosphere and we were rattling about in the place.
Loved the view and terrace. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Location was good and very quiet. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Shower didn’t drain and almost overflowed, which was a bit annoying. Room was small but worked for our needs!
Amazing place, great view, really worth the little price difference. Friendly staff
Amazing views worth the money
The overall vibe was cosy, the staff was nice. the private room with balcony was really cute and the room had a mini fridge which was really usefull. The massage was amazing, and Liliana was really nice and experienced.
First, I found it a bit odd having to cross the hotel in just a robe and socks to go upstairs for my massage. I mentioned to the staff that I didn't have slippers, but unfortunately, nothing was offered as an alternative. That said, the massage itself was absolutely fantastic and made up for that inconvenience. When it came to dining, I was disappointed with the restaurant, especially during breakfast. The overall vibe was less than inviting, and I felt the cleanliness could have been better. I did have dinner there as well, and while the food was fine, the atmosphere didn't quite meet expectations. On a positive note, the restaurant staff was incredibly welcoming. Tiago, in particular, was friendly and made me feel welcomed. One issue I encountered was with insects—flies and other bugs were present, which, while not necessarily the hotel's fault, still posed a bit of a challenge. I had to be careful when using the balcony, as insects would sometimes make their way into the room. One particular bug, in fact, became a bit of a nuisance, as it quickly scurried across the carpeted floor, disturbing my sleep. The solution I found was cover it with a cup for the whole stay.Additionally, I noticed that the room I was in had a bit of a dirty cover over the balcony. The ones in the picture are for the floors above which look a bit more clean and cosy.
The place, the view, the nice service
The mattress was hard. And it was super hard to fall asleep. It was not their fault. It's just me that prefer soft mattress.
great breakfast, nice balcony. good bed.
Staff wad friendly, everything was clean, great terrace
The room was too small, we didn't have much space for our suitcases, no coffee machine (the coffee costs extra), not a lot of vegan options in breakfast, no elevator
Our room had a balcony and great view over the town and valley. It was handy for a great walk in the hills next to the town. The restaurant had a good breakfast and we enjoyed 2 evening meals there with excellent food an service.
View was lovely I. Spite of the rain. Close to town and lovely sight seeing
Would have liked glasses in our room and be able to purchase a beer if wanted.
Great location, plenty of parking space near/next to hotel. Short walk to village centre. Staff very friendly.
The overall staff is very friendly.
My room had centipedes and spiders, my stay was supposed to be for two nights but I left after the first. I could not sleep due to this, there was no answer when I called the reception and when I told them about it and that I was leaving loosing the money of the second night they did not apologise or try to make up for it, their only concern was stating that they not receive any phone call from me as if I was lying about calling.
The included breakfast was fantastic; staff were nice and helpful; location is great
I found the bed uncomfortable but my partner liked it
Adelaide Hotel- GeresA maze of buildings and staircases, hotel on a narrow road steep hill. Good amount of parking. Room and bathroom large with balcony and clean. Breakfast good, scrambled eggs available. Geres town is only a 5 minute walk but could be tricky as steep hill and stairs. Overall the town was slightly disappointing, although there are a number of restaurants some were closed on certain days. Very few shops and not too much going on, obviously this was out of season so maybe different at other times of year. Swimming pool is 15 minute walk but down the hill into town and uphill to reach it, can take car instead.
When visiting swimming pool you have to show your room card not to pay entrance fee. You have to pay for sun beds and they don’t provide towels.
Staff is adorable. Restaurant is excellent and affordable. Breakfast is great. The place is well organized and shining clean. They are flexible and served breakfast earlier, and allowed late checkout with no cost.
The shower is a little weird, but works well.
The location was perfect for us.
Unaware the swimming pool was detached from the hotel. However, the hotel gives you a lift to and from the hotel. The pool and surrounding area were was ideal.
