staff is amazing, super nice, professional, hard working, attentive, and they made me feel at home..
that the rooms didn't have AC they changed it to Heat when it was 77 degrees outside !!! you need to offer in EVERY ROOM the option of AC or heater in every room..
Central location convenient for transport, train station and shopping street nearby. The size of the room and bathroom fine. We had coffee in the cafe connected to the hotel it's nice inside and outside, but probably a bit noisy to sit outside, it's a busy road for traffic.
The foyer and reception could be a bit more welcoming. The safe wouldn't work and the air conditioning wasn't working. I informed reception about this after out first night's saty but it wasn't fixed, and there was no communication with me after about this. We had to open the windows at night for air so it was very noisy. The decor in the room was a little confused, desert scene on one wall, black and silver flower patterned wallpaper on the other. No bottle of water or tea and coffee facilities in the room.
The rooftop bar and restaurant was really nice and staff were very good.
The bedroom was hard to find. Some of the hotel seemed to be in need of repair/renovation. We requested additional pillows but four hours later they hadn't been delivered to the room. At one point reception wasn't staffed and we had to wait until someone returned.
Modernly furnished, clean rooms, windows that can be opened. Friendly staff. The roof terrace is magical. In the center, easily and quickly accessible by public transport, train.
Dirty spots on the floor.
The staff were nice.
The hotel room was like a prison cell. The view outside my window was a giant ashtray and walls. If a person had closterphobia, they would die in there. Very small room, very much over priced, I will never go there again.
Location was good. Food was good. Staff were competent and friendly.
Liked my stay.
Bad
I tried to reach the hotel through message, email and booking, I couldn't.
Our first room flooded after a rain shower while we was out , came back to soaked bed and floor , they moved us to an apartment at around 1hr after . They couldn’t get the key card right this resulted in us walking back and forth up the road around 5 times
The room was well presented and clean. Plenty of towels and amenities, and the temperature of the room was perfect.
There is a LOT of noise between 10pm and midnight, especially if your room overlooks the side street or the bar / Main Street. So, I wouldn’t recommend for light sleepers. The hotel feels like it is long overdue a new coat of paint and a refurb. I do not think this was the best value for money.
Overall it was fine. The room was in good shape and clean and it was very practical with the garage in the basement.
I was a bit disappointed to find that the rooftop pool area was closed, something I didn't notice when booking .When booking I got the impression that breakfast was included which it wasn't.I found the personnel a bit curt.
Breakfast.
I had to change my room 3 times because the first 2 rooms were disgusting. Hair on the walls, cigarette smoke in the air, broken parts of furniture...Finally I got an acceptable room with very noisy neighbours.
Catalan staff great
Latino staff collaborating with corrupt Spaniards
Location close to town center.
Issues with invoice. Difficult communication via email.
The location was really good, very central. The cafe downstairs is fantastic, as is the bar on the terrace
Our first room had broken aircon during mid-30 degree weather. The receptionist moved us immediately when we mentioned it, which was great. Having seen other reviews about this issue, this is a known problem and has not been fixed. There are a lot of things that need to be improved. There was mixed messages about the opening times of the terrace, the room cleaning was very variable and we had a couple of days with no toilet roll, no hand soap. If all the rooms were bought up to the same standard, it'd be a much better hotel.
the restaurant was very nice and very friendly staff. very reasonable prices as well. The bathroom was very nice.
for what we paid for, the room was too much for what we got. we was put in the old end of the hotel where the room was not the best. The AC barely worked and did not cool down the room. there was no access to the roof as advertised. the roof was under construction so there was no access and we was not informed either. No smoking area apart from outside the hotel. It was average at best.
The staff were friendly, and the rooms were adequate.
For us, the staff were not super friendly at the restaurant, and when we asked for a sangria at the bar, we were served with a drink that had a lot of Fanta orange soda mostly, and then a little bit of red wine mixed with a little fruit AND SUGAR! We watched in horror, as this was being made after being served to true sangria throughout our trip. Also, our first dinner there we had a waitress that was not very pleasant.
Friendly staff and English Menu
