Parador de Lleida

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. It exceeded every expectation I had, and was very inexpensive, especially when the cost and value are compared. The staff were very attentive and helpful. It was very also very quiet, and I was able to sleep well.

Great Hotel a bit tricky to find the PARKING location best to select PARKING PARADOR LlEIDA on google maps rather than the hotel or the road name . We stay at many Paradors as this was fabulous inside the hotel and staff were great .

Rather disappointing once you leave the hotel , not everywhere is as safe to walk around as other cities in Spain .The Castell De Sund castle just 8 minutes walk was well worth the visit up a up hill walk , and the Knights Templer de Gardeny castle as you leave the city .

Everything is clean and location is ideal.

The only thing is that the breakfast could be a bit better, not a whole lot to choose from.

Almost nothing. Room is spacious and the property is very large.

LOCATION. Zombie zone. Neighborhood is so bad, unfortunately.SERVICE. From the no smile and no kindness frontdesk to a restaurant/room service that does the siesta (no kidding).

This is our second stay at the Parador de Lleida - we adore this hotel. It's clean, gorgeous, and the rooms are spacious. We have family there and the courtyard area is a stunning area to sit and chat over drinks. We will definitely be back!

The location is right off the main shopping street, but the neighborhood immediately surrounding the hotel isn't the best. Just be aware :)

The location was terrible the insecurity in the streets around it a geto with non friendly people very dangerous.

nice staff, nice building. easy parking.

actually nothing wrong with the parador, but more with the city in itself and the neighborhood. Not much to see there, although we did climb up to the castle / church.

Lovely hotel and great staff. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Lleida leaves a bit to be desired as a tourist destination. We needed a stop over hotel on drive from France to Madrid and picked Lleida. The Parador is a jewel in a city that we found not too charming.

A just ok breakfast for 14 Euros

Place was beautiful- especially restaurant.

The location while central - is surrounded by a bunch of guys all hanging around. It did not feel safe to leave the property - especially at night after seeing this area to the parking. It felt like we were stranded in a beautiful looking prison with the inmates all outside. Would not go back to Lleida or this property again .

Room, ambience, restaurant, central area, bar.

The hotel itself is quite luxurious. The restaurant is absolutely fabulous. A brilliant chef whose every dish was delicious and Michelin star quality without feeling like it was too artsy or too pretentious. And the restaurant is in the former church part of the convent which, like the rest of the building, is beautifully restored. Very pleasant staff!!!

The strange part of this hotel is that it is in a somewhat "struggling" neighborhood - lots of seasonal workers hanging around with apparently nothing to do and walking around making it feel somewhat unwelcoming at times. And in the midst of this, a luxurious bastion as a hotel, which makes it also feel a bit like a prison at times. A prison of luxury. A very interesting experience. Also the history of the convent is interesting, both in positive and negatieve sense. More than 700 people died there during the Seige of LLeide when they sought refuge in the convent. In more recent years, the building had served many public functions, and then in 2017 it became a parador although there was loud protest. Check out story through Chat GPT for example. When you see the area it is in, you cannot help but wonder if making this location a Parador is fitting and helpful for the people living all around it. And we missed the possibility of being out of doors within hotel boundaries, which is often possible in other Paradors in Catalonia. On the other hand, if you want to be in the middle of Lleida, this place is definitely in the middle.

Area that hotel is in is a little dodgy

The helpfulness of the reception staff, one of whom managed against the odds to find a garage to fix our car the next morning so that we could continue our journey. Very conveniently located for visiting the cathedral.

The descriptions of the food in the restaurant were so over the top that we decided it was safer to have a simple snack in the bar instead.
