    Pros +

    • Nice location, close to the university and the center, convenient parking and generally a good hotel. In the room you have all you need, it's neat and tastefully furnished.
    • The location was convenient for me
    • There was a swimming pool and gym. Big parking available, beautiful restaurant of El TramVery good air-conditioning in the roomThe cigarette machine inside the hotel + there was a closet with glass doors so you buy essential things like baby powder or soothing cream, you just need to ask receptionist and you can buy it there

    Cons -

    • It's a good place, not amazing but good and has all I needed and expected, so I can't single out something bad but it is not soundproof, so expect the typical Spanish hotel noise levels.
    • The staff is awful, the room smelled like tobacco, everything was in a baf condition
    • Breakfast was not tastyPool area wasn't cleaned thoroughly enough everyday, with yellow foam in the poolNo possibility to add drinks or food to the room in order to have 1 billNo service for food or drinks at poolNo air conditioning in the gym (horrible when visiting the area with temperatures above 30 degrees)Absolutely NO soaps, shampoos, conditioner, or any of those littles products that you would usually get in a 4 star hotel. The only soap was in a soap dispenser on the wall above the (very old) jacuzzi bathtub which wasn't working properly and soap felt old (like it wasn't cleaning my skin) so i bought my own stuff from Mercadonna including both hand soap as shower gel

I guess that I had booked a regular room and they upgraded me to the spa room, which was in a different area. The room was very spacious and had, well a nice big spa bath tub and lounge area. Very nice. As always the staff were great and the parking options are easily adaptable to our needs.

The location is very convenient for stays with working with the UdL though not comfortably close for walking to the city center historical areas.

Easy to find and park. Quick and efficient check in. Very nice comfortable bed, best so far this holiday. Excellent restaurant with top quality menu and great staff.

Room was very dark with only two dim bedside lights. Impossible to read a book in semi darkness.

    Heating works well

Jacuzzi not usable as water flows in very slow (approx. 2h to fill) / small table + wooden folding chair / no wardrobe / horrible coffee/cappucchino from coffee maschine (good coffee/cappucchino from professional coffee maschine for staff or to buy for extra money) /

    The staff was very friendly.

Cheap and not new IKEA furniture (strange for 4*)Heating with conditioner - either with a lot of noise, either cold.Hamam in SPA was very cold.

If you're travelling from Madrid to France, this is a great point to stop. The rooms are an excellent size, with a large bathroom, plush towels, and a comfy bed.

Sadly, there was little to no soundproofing, or any enforcement of quiet times after 10pm. There were people running down the corridor, and running baths after 11pm. We also couldn't find a bar or restaurant on site open before 8:30pm. Fortunately there were a couple of places over at the bowling alley.

Great place and I would happily stay there again. Large place with plenty of space and many things on offer. I was there for work so little time for the gym or spa but I did enjoy breakfast in the bar and an excellent dinner every night.

The internet wifi was easy to connect but the speed varied. Perhaps something to do with the weather?

    The location was practical

The reception was not friendly, the room smelled like a ash tray, there were bugs in the towels, the window was very small, there were not doors for the children bedroom or bathroom , the corridors smelled damp.

Lovely spot out of town. Quiet. When travelling handy that Aldi and supermarkets a very short walk away.

The staff and breakfast are good, good SPA

The hotel provided the primary need of a good-sized and clean room with wide and comfortable bed and beautifully quiet at night.

There weren't really any hotel services. We arrived on a Sunday when neither the restaurant or bar served food. Over the road are a McDonald's, Burger King and Ribs, not really the dining experience I was anticipating for a hotel stay. The website says that bottled water is provided in the room but it wasn't, I had to ask. The following day I had to ask again, and the only two sachets of coffee were not replaced. I returned from my dining experience across the road and requested a glass of red wine from the bar (corridor-like with a row of benches with table along the wall). They had no red wine at all and only one bottle of white! I enquired if the onsite Irish pub was open but there isn't one, apparently, just a venue to hire.

The property was near to where a family member lives, but also easily accessible to the city of Llieda. Nice nearby bars and eateries.

Rooms are a little dated, and could do with some modernisation. The bar in the hotel didn’t seem to be open at any point, or the restaurant. There was a small coffee/drinks bar off the reception.

the spa- the Tram restaurant is very good - nice photographs on wall

smell of damp - paying to use spa even with a treatment booked

    7SimonPosted on: 9-26-2024

Clean and buffet breakfast offers something a little different.

The place needs some renovation in places

    2FilipPosted on: 9-18-2024

    Bad value for money.

Not hygienic, not clean. Old and outdated facilities, some amenities not working.Bad smell in the room.Staff at reception not friendly nor helpful.

    7CherylPosted on: 9-17-2024

    Nice and clean

The restaurant was closed when we arrived but plenty of places close by to eat

    8AndrewPosted on: 8-22-2024

Unusual hotel as caters for themes. Easy to find, great indoor children play area. Lovely swimming pool, gym, all clean. Delicious on site restaurant too.

Bit of a distance from centre of town, but easy parking and accessible

    8DavidPosted on: 8-18-2024

The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The swimming pool is a bonus. Secure gated parking.

It's away from the town unless you want to eat at the next door restaurant (not open Sundays) or McDonald's opposite so it's a taxi/car ride. The attitude of the staff varies and not massively friendly.
