Hotel Real

It was a nice and spacious room. The location of the hotel is great. We walked everywhere. We have a child so it was great to have a playground right in front.

Excellent location, good reception.

We took a room without breakfast so no coffee was provided in the hotel but there was a good coffee shop next door. The big bed is just two beds are put together. The pedal in the garbage can was broken (it looks like it's been broken for a long time). It is not convenient to get in and out of the shower and it does not close completely.

A/C wasn't cool enough

Everything about this hotel is great. I stay there everytime I visit Lleida. It is close to everything, and especially the shopping area, lots of great cafes and it also overlooks the rives that passes through the town. I would stay in this hotel again. It is authentic and unlike new generation hotels it is very nostalgic and well kept and clean and friendly.

Good location, comfortable bed

Noise, I heard a lot of conversation from the other side of my bedroom wall and very early in the morning.The shower system cause a lot of water run-off on the floor.

The hotel was excellent! The location is downtown, the staff was friendly and the price was not to bad!!

Some people in the front desk were helpful

It was dirty and smelled bad!The cleaner, especially the man doing the job didn't have a clue. The only reason we stayed was the location. Old hotel and badly maintained!

Close to the center , comfortable bed , family big room .Shared bathroom was OK.

Extra charge for the krib...knowing that we make a reservation for the baby.

Breakfast was a bit end of season

The hotel is literally in the city center and it is next to a river with a very nice promenade. The bathroom was really spacey with a double sink which we really liked. There is a cleaning service that makes beds and changes towels every day which is nice and the reception on the ground floor is working 24/7 which is great if you come in late or early morning :)

A little bit small, only beds, bathroom and a desk. Take note that blankets are in the closet on the top shelf so you don't freeze during the night like we did hahah

Close to the station but also to the city centre, big clean room

There’s no mini bar or not even a bottle of water in the room which was a bit annoying. Buying a small bottle of water was 1.5 euro.

dirty hallway, dirty floor, dirty chair, no toilet brush, dirty and old remote control for the TV, no remote for the air-con. The breakfast was very poor. they had a container for ham bit it never got filled. half of the stuff was empty and didn't get refilled. we were the first at the breakfast buffet.

The location is very good, the room was very spacious, and the balcony offered good views.

The staff (especially a woman, who I believe was the manager because of the way she interacted with the other employees, and the lack of uniform, which the others wore), were not polite nor well trained. The very first morning, I came down to have breakfast, and when passing by the reception, this woman literally started screaming at me asking what I was doing there. I was completely shocked, she proceeded to ask me to show me my ID, which I usually don’t bring down to have breakfast. When she saw my ID and verified I was a guest, she apologized (barely) and let me go have my breakfast. The same day, a bit later in the afternoon, a friend who lives in town came by to pick me up so we could have a coffee. But I was running late and he was already downstairs. It was a super hot day (over 40°c/105°f) so I came down real quick to invite him to wait on my room (with AC) so that he didn’t have to wait on the heat. Again this same woman started screaming at us, saying only guests are allowed upstairs and he would have to wait outside.Even if those things are house rules (showing ID to get breakfast and non-guests are not allowed upstairs) she could have approached both situations with respect and politeness. But she was very rude instead.The room furniture was also very old and had that old furniture smell. And the breakfast was very simple, did not have much variety, and seemed that the products were not fresh.They really need to renovate the entire place as well.In general if it had costed a third or maximum half of the amount I paid, it would have been ok. But for their prices, it is not worth it.

The a/c wasn't working. It blew, and we thought we'd give it time to cool, unfortunately, it never cooled down. We tried to sleep, but it was very uncomfortable. We called the front desk around 2am and spoke to the receptionist- who informed us that she'd call us back with an update. After about 30 minutes of no call back, we called the receptionist again. She said that she didn't know what to do and told us that it was her first day working. Thankfully, we only reserved for one night.

Great breakfast and dining options. Hotel is in the heart of the city, just around the corner from Calle Mayor, and across the street from the river. Relaxing "home base" for exploring the city.

Clean and modern hotel very close to the old town's shopping streets and restaurants. Close enough to the train station. River view room with balcony allowed to enjoy ourselves. Friendly staff.

Noisy passage right outside the window. Breakfast is a disgrace - boxes and junk all over.

The location is excellent. The rooms with balcony have and added value, for sure. The bed is very comfortable. It's very clean.

The only thing is the elevator. It"s a bit outdated, small and noisy.

Bear in mind the "cheapest" or simple room does not admit dogs, so if you are travelling with your pet, you should book the room with a balcony. It was not stated clearly on Booking, so had to pay extra on site for the upgrade.
