Large and very clean room. Great bed.

Big and nice bed and sofa. Did not see any bugs flying around. Room had a good view of the mountains.

Not soundproof like advertised, could hear sounds from kitchen next door. Could hear sounds from highway.parking lot was not paved so had to carry suitcase from car.

Location... amazingly clean and large... great friendly staff too. Comfy beds and quiet make it the best place in town.

Because you arrive by train (there is only one arrival time) and it is hours before check-in there should be a closet you can lock your luggage in... near or in the lobby.

It was new and clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen nice and close. Places to get dinner and breakfast were good. I have already recommended this place to my friends going to the South Island next month

It was not on the North Island where I could stay there again and again.

Each room has been renovated and the bathrooms couldn't have been cleaner! The stay was amazing and the location was right in the center of town. Everyone wanted to be staying at Arthurs Pass Motel and Lodge. We both loved the key card to enter into the property adding a detail of security to the stay. The communal kitchen use was so well equipped, there's only one store that opens until 3/4pm so make sure to take supplies with you to eat and drink.

Our host at the Arthurs Pass motel and lodge reminded us the night before to pick up supplies but we ran out of time beforehand. There's one bar, one store, one restaurant in the town and its absolutely divine just being in such a small town in the mountains.

Outdoor area was not well kept. Would have been nice to have a nice seating area outside.

Kitchen very well appointed. Appreciated the coffee maker.

Would have been good to know that our room was beside the common room where large groups gathered in the evening.Was quite noisy, but luckily, did not go on too late.

Could hear people in the common room all night. Uncomfortable bed. Stains on furniture. Check in was confusing when arriving at 730 pm.

Tash was friendly and helpful. was right about the availability of meals at night in Arthur’s pass. We back up her recommendation to take food with you as the availability of meals at night in Arthurs Pass is bad.

Our accommodations were perfect. Our room was clean and large. The kitchen was a plus.

The location was a perfect spot to stop on our drive from Franz Josef. Our room was clean. While my husband was uncomfortable with the shared living area I used the kitchen and laundry and both were so nice to have a cess to.

We did miss having a TV in our room to chill out after a long day.

Well equipped for a comfortable overnight stay. Well-located to break-up a longer drive. Close to trails and outdoor activities.

It was modern. Well equipped shared full kitchen. Very clean right in the centre of town. Bed was comfortable. Unit was warm.
