Beautiful farm-turned-hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Our favorite part is the restaurant - the food was the best we had in Norway! The owners are so accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Comfy bed, quiet location. Used the shuttle to get to and from Voss (they will pick you up and take you wherever in town as long as you give them a little notice!). Beautiful views. Very peaceful. Restaurant was delicious for dinner.

Bit far from town so spontaneous plans were hard to do. My room was below ground near the parking area, so privacy wasn't the best (couldn't have my shades opened when folks were coming and going).

We had a wonderful stay at Store Ringheim Hotel og Restaurant. The room we had overlooked the hillside and was charming and very comfortable. The bathroom was wonderful and provided high end bath products. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived we were treated to a full rainbow overlooking the valley.We had the best meal of our 15 day trip to the Netherlands and Norway at this hotel. Everything that was served was presented in the most exceptional way and everything on the plate had a purpose in making the meal delicious.

Beautiful location, wonderful staff, fantastic food! We only stayed for one night but it was a perfect stay. The rooms, decor, amenities, location, views were all exceptional. The dinner at the hotel was the best food we have had in our 5 day trip - truly outstanding by any measure.

Room was cozy yet elegant, bed was comfy, bathroom was upscale, high-end bath products, and views were incredible. Dinner was exceptional - the tasting for two was pricey, but servings were a good size and wine recommendations were wonderful! Nicest staff too. This is a family owned property, and they even waited on us at breakfast. The family takes a lot of pride in their hotel - and it shows. If we come back to Voss, we will definitely stay here!

Bedroom did not have AC nor a fan. There were no mirrors in the bedroom - only in the bathroom. No refrigerator in room. Everything else was amazing!

Wonderful small boutique hotel with a special restaurant. Very comfortable accommodations and great toiletries. The dinner experience was excellent - gourmet and local farm produce. Great wine selection. We were able to have a nice walk into town from the hotel.

Beautiful property with lots of areas to relax. Very comfortable beds and amazing shower. Restaurant was great. Staff was super friendly. And the cutest cat! Would absolutely stay again.

Walls in the newer building are a bit thin.

Wonderful place in the middle of nature. Very quiet and peaceful. The views are amazing when you sit outside. Its about 5 minutes away from town by a car. Much better than regular hotels in the town. The place is run by a family and they are nice and respectful people

This is a beautiful history place family owned. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. A great sense of hospitality.

This is a special place with a wonderful tale to tell. Upon arrival, we were greeted by one of the owners who told us the history of the property whilst also proudly announcing himself as 10th generation of the farm. The room was tastefully decorated with a cosy, warm feel to it. We chose to have dinner at the Store Ringheim Restaurant, where all produce is sourced sustainably and locally. The menu was set and with each course came a story. We started with meat that had been cured since 2022! It was delicious! Breakfast was equally delightful and we left feeling well rested and fed. It was a short walk to Voss City Centre where there are coffee shops to enjoy. A really special experience and one that I would recommend!

Store Ringheim, in the town of Voss, was a delightful place to stay. The rooms are bright, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The hotel is nestled in the hills with lovely views of the nearby valleys. The folk museum is just a few minutes walk away and is wonderfully done. The restaurant provided our favorite meals, both for breakfast and dinner, during our extended trip through Scandinavia. The staff are exceptionally personable and informative in this owner-staffed hotel. Artwork throughout the facility is exceptional due to the artistic ability of the owners. We have stayed in dozens of bed and breakfasts and this was one of our best experiences ever.

Loved its charm and the owners are always at reach and friendly. The location, and the unique room location, the garden and the various seating areas for café and restaurant. Truly, a lovely place

Not that there were many but would appreciate if there was a net on the window so we keep the bugs away when sleeping and wanting a breeze since there is no a/c.

Location is close to the center of Voss, but maintains its rural charm. Just what we were looking for. Lovely views, staff and excellent food. Everything was super clean, however room was small. That said there are a range of sizes and room types. Wonderful family owned and operated venue with unique tasteful charms everywhere you look. Just a delight!

The property was delightful and the location breath taking. Our rooms were extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a fabulous evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast was excellent. It was a very memorable stay and we all wishes we had booked another night

Not their fault but there was a wedding so no restaurant and noisy guests outside our room for hours.

The contact and conversations with the owners was special. The location was special. Everyone was very helpful.

We booked this through a travel agent so we were surprised to learn that a wedding party was arriiving the one full day we were on the property. It would have been good to know about this in advance and perhaps our travel agent failed to tell us. However, the owners were very sensitive to this situation and assisted us in various ways so that we were not overwhelmed by the wedding festivities.

Beautifully restored family run boutique hotel created from a farm house and buildings. My room was as lovely as the photos promised and the owners and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The dinner was superb. The free shuttle to and from the rail station was very convenient.
