Was not accessible for cars. Car parking inconvenient. Inadequate staff at reception and at restaurant for handling the sporadic volume of patrons.?. Causing waiting in line to check in and refusing use of restaurant. Hotel showing signs of wear and tear.

Cleanliness, convenience to the train station, city center, etc. Great food at dinner; extensive selection at breakfast buffet. Voss is somewhat of a transportation hub, with things to see and do locally, as well as starting point for travel to several other attractions. (Vik, Stalheim, Njardarheimur, Nærøyfjorden, Flåmsbana, Myrkdalen ski center, etc.).

Weather has been VERY warm there lately, and most hotels in Norway do not have (or need) air conditioning. Ability to control the room temperature was inadequate for the circumstances; there was one small window that could be opened to provide cooler air, but there was no breeze or way to circulate it. Unusual circumstances, not really the fault of the hotel. My wife and I shared the room with our adult son who accompanied us on the trip. He slept on the sofa that had been pulled out.....this made the room more cramped. Would recommend this room for a couple only.

The location. Gym. Breakfast was excellent.

The rooms felt like a college dorm crossed with a summer Christian retreat cabin. Beds were 4 degrees down so your head filled with blood while you slept. The little window perch cushions has sperm or vaginal discharge. Was gross. See photos. Hallways were loud enough to hear things from room.

Beautiful and modern, great restaurant onsite. Very convenient location, right across from the water.

Surpringly, they don't have a drive up entrance so you need to park at the adjacent parking lot just to check in and unload. It's right next door, but if you have alot of luggage or have mobility issues, keep that in mind.

Very clean and with very modern facilities. The breakfast was great!

It was very confusing upon arrival to figure out where to go to check in and where to park while you did check in, and where the parking was.

This hotel has such a nice vibe, modern but fun, feels active but stylish too. There are so many unique amenities and the customer service was wonderful. I hope to come back someday.

Loved the property. I forgot to give back the luggage card as I was rushing to my train and felt very bad.

The location is very good, and the food at the restaurant has many options.

The room was very small, and there was no AC. The restaurant prices were exorbitant, which is not uncommon in Norway ,though.

Mostly happy with staying at Scandic Voss. The staffs were so friendly and supportive especially at reception. The location and facilities were very good.

We encountered an issue at breakfast. The caterpillar (kinda worm) came out from the salad. We were shocked and lost our taste. We informed the staff and they made apology however we didn’t feel good as we were expecting good breakfast as everybody else.

Nice room accommodation, comfortable bed and nice view of the town. Wonderful location for train transport. Exceptional breakfast!

The location is great, it shares the site with the Voss bus/train station. A beautiful lake in few min walk across the street. The breakfast buffet exceeded my exceptions.

The room is small for three.

very difficult to find the hotel and had no idea where the entrance was. I was driving and it was frustrating.

Good big clean room, friendly helpful staff, big nice gym , Ac was good, the dinner buffet was delicious, perfect coffee

Best location if you are traveling by bus or train. The hotel is attached to the train and bus station, and the gondola lift. Breakfast is good.

Garage parking was confusing as the gates are kept closed. Finding outdoor parking was confusing at first as well, but reception helped out. No kettles in the room, despite mentioning of kettles in the Q&A for family rooms. Reception didn't have kettles as well. Reception is kind when asked face to face, but will almost never pick up the phone. First time I called, it rook one minute to pick up. Second time I called, they never picked up. Breakfast could also be better managed. On the first day, the maple syrup and chocolate milk were never filled up during the one hour we had breakfast there. One of the glass cups in the room was chipped away at the top.

Great location and easy access from the train and to the bus. Rooms were very functional.
