Nothing is missing when visiting this place. Good staff, great wine, very nice and comfortable rooms. Well worth the stay!!
Very pleasant experience
Patchy Wi-Fi in location of property where room was located. Limited service available for evening dining.
The spa treatments were really good and relaxing.
When we arrived none of the restaurants were open for the first two days, which we weren’t informed about before coming. We also were pretty much ignored by all staff, there was lots of maintenance work going on.It got slightly better but no where need the standard of a 5* hotel.
I actually booked this stay as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law for a wedding gift. They loved the experience, the location, the luxury of the room and the attention of the staff. They ate at the beach club and had a great evening, made even better by the shuttle service to and from the beach.
It was a little disappointing they couldn't have immediate access to their suite when they arrived as there was an issue with something. They were given a drink whilst they waited but when they were only there for one night, it was a shame.
This is our third or fourth time we stayed at the hotel. The restaurant, staff and facilities are just fantastic. We will make this a regular stop during our travels.
We needed to stay another night...
The whole atmosphere of the place was special.
The bar area needs to improve its lighting and music to create a better atmosphere when quiet. When breakfast was busy the service was impacted.
Beautiful setting allying old stones and Scandinavian decor. Restaurants on site. There was only one open on the night we were there and it was fully booked but the staff at the reception made superb recommendations and drove /picked us there at no charge. The restaurant that was open is « gastronomical ».There is also a winery onsite (with very knowledgeable people pouring wines) as well as a couple of art shops. But most and foremost, I need to thank the awesome staff at the reception desk!! We had a major issue with our rental car and they went above and beyond their duties to help us. We wouldn’t have solved our transportation issue without them!! Big kudos!!
None. Really!
Beautiful grounds. Really enjoyed our dinner at Joie de Vivre
They really need to have much better coffee. Nespresso is not gourmet like coffee for a resort and restaurant of such outstanding quality.
We loved the isolation. The restaurant was fantastic. The service was impeccable. The gym is 24/7. The spa had biologique researche.
Super location amongst the vineyards. Reception team were super efficient. Art du Vivre restaurant is amazing.
Not staying longer!
Very nice place and surroundings. Great staff.
Food on the pricey side; the gym is well below the level of that hotel.
We got a half price deal on the price so decided to book this for a stopover on our journey. Had a delicious 5 course meal in Le Art de Vivre restaurant with the ‘exceptional’ wine pairings. Breakfast was also very good.Neither disappointed…delicious.
Our room was at the top of two very steep flights of stairs. As mentioned we’d only been charged half the usual rate but the room was usually one of their more expensive ones. Luckily, it was just the two of us. I think it was meant to be a family suite as there was a connecting room. The stairs up to it with small children would be dangerous. They’re not really wide enough to walk holding a child’s hand. When we arrived there was also what appeared to be a bus tour of people there for a wine tasting. We were expecting a small luxury hotel but felt like we were staying in a thoroughfare of customers for the chateau’s produce. As we were leaving the next morning, there were more non residents floating around the resort’s reception area.
Not a lot, the bed was comfortable the AC was efficient.
The Hôtel restaurants were closed and we were directed to the local beach restaurants which were basic. Printed menus with pictures of the dishes! The WiFi in the room didn’t work and the tv kept turning itself off after 10 minutes.
Amazing location with historic buildings restored to beautiful reception, accommodation and restaurant areas. Set in acres of vineyards but close to the sea - peaceful - relaxing and artistic - good design.
Nothing - it was authentic and lovely
Very friendly staff. Facilities were overall very good, and the site of the property was magnificent. The gastronomic restaurant was excellent. Great wine boutique. And a great Beach facility.
There were size issue for our first room (out of three), but the room was changed for a larger one. Cleanliness was barely on par for, and with fowl smells from the facet. Wifi was on and off, doors of all rooms closed or not, at will. Laundry was a disaster. Prices of a "true" five star hotel, with an despicable service, shirts returned with spots, not even ironed and folded "pele-mele". We outsourced our laundry service! One night, we came back around 11:30 (left our key in the room), and no one at reception, no one answered the phone ... finally, the person on duty came back from having done a check around the property. The gastronomic restaurant was excellent but no other alternative on site ... except going back to the Beach. For clients staying a week (3 rooms at those prices), and eating at the hotel's Beach for lunch, an alternative on site would be recommended. As well, Beach chairs should be complimentary for longer stay guests of the hotel, as anyone walking into the Beach facility could rent the same chairs!
Lovely room in splendid setting.
They have a serious problem with catering. Their main restaurant is not booked automatically for hotel guests although they will taxi you to other restaurants. Not good if you want a restful stay. They really need to address this as it quite spoiled our stay.
The bedroom was lovely. The pool looked good although we didn’t get to use it as it was too windy. The gourmet restaurant was dressed beautifully
The beach didn’t really seem to be part of the hotel. When we asked to see the beach we were asked why we wanted to go there???
