    Pros +

    • Amazing building and nice decor. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and polite. Breakfast was plenty and good quality. The rooms are very spacious and quiet.
    • This is a fabulous hotel (and restaurant) which is in a grand building with beautiful furnishings, linen and bathroom. The corner room had high ceilings, 2 balconies and was very spacious. All the staff were very helpful, attentive and informative.
    • Amazing location, lovely staff, breakfast and facilities!

    Cons -

    • All very good.
    • You get one key and there is a door downstairs that you should keep locked all time. What if you are several people and not all move at the same time ? Who keeps the key ? I'm wondering if this setup is ok from a safety standpoint. The downstairs door should have at least a mechanism to be opened from the inside without a key in case of an emergency. Maybe modernise the locks to Nuki or a numeric lock pad system ?
    • My only tiny quibble is that the breakfast, beyond coffee and pastries, is menu-based rather than a buffet. This means that you have to make a choice between, for example, cereal and fruit salad. But this may be a matter of personal taste and the fruit salad (and the scrambled eggs) is excellent!

Beautifully restored 1890 home near old town. Wonderful staff!

Great location. The room was very nice with a view. Staff was very helpful. They let us check in early. The hotel is old and lovely. We had coffee around the pool which was very nice. Would stay at this hotel again.

    All very good.

The apartment has plenty of space and a nice layout. The location is very convenient to walk into the old town but also to quickly get out of town with a car. The hotel itself has a very nice pool area and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the centre. Everything in the building seems to be carefully and thoughtfully planned for the delight of the guests from the design of the rooms with contemporary technology that doesn’t need an instruction book to operate, to the really excellent food. The vegetarian option was exceptional. Rather delightfully, as I was pausing at the entrance one day, an elderly local lady stopped to recommend the restaurant.I had a pretty and very comfortable corner room with a shower; I hate showers but even this worked for me. There is an attractive reception room, two small garden areas, a pool which looked very inviting and a general atmosphere of elegance and tranquility. The staff offer a warm welcome and are charming and efficient.

My only tiny quibble is that the breakfast, beyond coffee and pastries, is menu-based rather than a buffet. This means that you have to make a choice between, for example, cereal and fruit salad. But this may be a matter of personal taste and the fruit salad (and the scrambled eggs) is excellent!

It’s my second time and it did not disappoint. The staff is excellent, very accommodating. Food is great. The rooms have a nice decoration, well equipped and are quiet. Air conditioning is quiet. And the pool!!

Beautiful little pool outside our room. Very quiet and very helpful staff.

Couldn’t work out the air conditioning.

Very large comfortable room. Helpful staff. Excellent food at dinner. Couldn’t use pool due to poor weather.

    Quite expensive given the location.

We LOVED everything about this hotel!!! It was the last stop on our 10-day family vacation. We were tired and cranky, as we walked with 4 adults, 4 children, and 8 suitcases from the train station to the hotel (I do not recommend this!) We walked into the gate of Hôtel Le Mosaïque, and got a renewed burst of excitement! The hotel was so lovely, and the rooms were some of the nicest I have stayed in in both Europe and the US. It was centrally located in Narbonne and the staff was so friendly and helpful! Our favorite part was the food!!!! OMG...this place will receive a Michelin star one day. We could not get over how delicious and beautiful the food was. We ate every meal in the hotel because of this-- breakfast, lunch and dinner! Narbonne is a beautiful city, and we hope to return one day. If we do, we would definitely stay at this hotel...no need to look any further!

There was nothing we did not like, and I am picky. The accommodations, staff, and food were all a 10/10! I only wish we had more time there.

The Le Mosaique is a boutique hotel in the very centre of Narbonne (although in more "modern", 19th-century area of the old centre), located in a gorgeous mansion, or townhouse, with its own garden and swimming-pool. Despite the venerable age of the facilities, the interior is very modern, and our suite even featured plenty if high-tech features, in a remarkable contrast with the beautiful old tiles and stained-glass windows of the original decoration. It is a particularly spacious room, with very high ceilings and a gorgeous view of the garden at the entrance. The swimming pool is a refreshing spot on those hot summer days that are so common in this part of France, and there is also a small bar and a restaurant (you can also have lunch or dinner al fresco, weather allowing). Breakfast was delicious, and staff were particularly eager to help and gave us plenty of useful tips for restaurants, etc.

It is a pity there isn't a car park (although it is only understandable, given how old the building is); however, there is plenty of parking space (both street-level and underground parking) only a 5-minute walk away.

Fabulous hotel with beautiful pool area. Lovely oasis from the heatwave. Friendly staff. Great location. The food in the restaurant was very good.

The breakfast was minimal and a bit lack lustre. I was only offered a menu on the second morning.

Beautiful property, parking, check-in and check-out was easy. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Pool looked beautiful although we did not use it.

    Nothing, it was fine.

    Central location

Food poor value for money, poor breakfastNo parking facilities.

The room was located next to the pool. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff was great.

Way over priced for the city and location. They closed the pool because it rained.

The hotel was in a great location, close to the centre of Narbonne and all the amenities. The hotel staff were excellent, they were very helpful and knowledgeable and helped us park our car in their private garage. The room was very nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. We did not have breakfast but did visit the hotel restaurant in the evening. The food and wine were excellent! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Narbonne.

    Nothing comes to mind!

Young staff without a lot of experience, but very kind and willing to help.

On a quiet side street. Parking on the street tricky but a cheap public car park just up the road. Quality of decor & comfort in room and other areas excellent. Dinner very good, had dinner there twice as it was excellent. Great staff, super helpful

Couldn't comment on the breakfast as we didn't have it, but it did seem a touch expensive

Charming, friendly, clean, comfortable hotel; Well-located; good restaurant and fresh breakfast; great, modern rooms; 2 minutes walk to the old town.
