Hotel Miramare

Location was excellent for convience to beach and local attractions.

Upon arrival in October, it was cold. Informed by the evening clerk that there was no heat in rooms till November. She informed us the she could give us an extra blanket and we should cuddle together? also avoid room number 25. It is the maids area and noisy machinery even at night.

Everything, from the friendly receptionists and staff, excellent breakfasts, the spotlessly clean rooms and the unbeatable location.

Nothing. I wanted to stay longer.

The location was fabulous. Perfect for walking to restaurants and the beach AC was terrific and staff were helpful.

Our bed was rock hard. I complained the next morning and they switched the mattress so it was more tolerable. It still wasn’t the most comfortable.

Location was excellent.

I asked to have the fridge replaced because it wasn’t working and the issue was simply not addressed. Also, breakfast was included. We asked to take a cornetto for my 4 yr old daughter to go but we were denied. We had to sit to have breakfast or you don’t get any which was a shame.

The front desk staff was very friendly and professional. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a triple room with a balcony. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was good, a typical Italian sweet breakfast with some cold cuts and yogurt. The location is very good, just a block to the promenade and then a short walk to the historical center of town. The lobby is very large with plenty of space to sit in different rooms.Our air conditioning didn't work correctly when we arrived, so the front desk staff sent a technician up while we were out. After that, it worked much better but still not as well as every other air conditioner. Also, this was the only room we've stayed at during this trip that did not have a coffee maker or hot water for tea, so we think that should be added.

The room was very spacious. The place has been newly decorated. Breakfast was great. Fab location and within walking distance from everything. We were very happy!

We had a 'sea view' but on arrival was a lateral sea view.

Sandra who works at reception went above and beyond even when we arrived a day early. She found a us a room. She helped us book a tour with Christina and Franco. The following hotel staff were absolutely fabulous. Carolina wanted our coffee order and breakfaatand even helped us as our Italian was very limited. Giuseppe, Doris, and Antonella were so sweet. Patrizia, Grazia, and Teresa cleaned our rooms beautiful. Hotel Miramare was awesome. We had a balcony view that looked across the beautiful promande. Quiet and peaceful and sanctuary for a couple's retreat. The hotel is right across from the beach and located mid town. It was a perfect location It was absolutely beautiful. Sandra recommended restaurants to us and we tried to eat everything in Otranto. Staff were exceptional and had the ability to make contacts for othwr outings in the area ,(yours and other hotels when we left the area). Staff were knowledgeable about the town and the region. This vacation will remembered ever so fondly.

I didn't like that I had to leave. I wish I was still there.

Outdated furniture, no balcony to dry your beach stuff, no beach towels. Very uncomfortable pillows.

Great location in the heart of Otranto. Parking nearby and staff all friendly. Great breakfast.

Rooms are basic but clean. Shower could be better was poor pressure and run down.

The room we stayed in - triple with balcony was nice , however, the air conditioning was not the strongest considering where it was situated, its by the front door and you did not feel the coolness where the beds were situated. It was very hot and they had to bring us a fan .

The room was really comfortable. Very well located . breakfast was excellent and also the staff. Near the beach , the civic center . I enjoyed my stay in there a lot Wonderful place to stay in .

I am a returning guest and still extremely satisfied about my staying at the Miramare. I had the same room as the previous stay and I was delighted to find it tasteful redecorated. The location, the cleanliness of the entire structure, the staff and everything else about the hotel is superb. A special thanks goes to Antonella and her colleagues taking care of the breakfast section. Nothing was ever too much to ask, even on a very busy day they were switched on and very proactive always using the same care with every guest. Every single member of staff I have dealt with was fantastic. Many thanks (number 1)
