The breakfast was very poor, the towels very old and the comfort all over very low

We had a truly wonderful stay at Masseria Bandino & Spa. The property feels serene and peaceful, with a stunning swimming pool that invites total relaxation. The on-site restaurant exceeded our expectations — our meal was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and paired perfectly with local wines. The wine tasting was another highlight, offering both excellent selections and a deeper appreciation of the region.The overall setting, hospitality, and quality make this masseria an outstanding choice in Otranto. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a mix of relaxation, fine dining, and authentic charm.

The only small downside is that spa access isn’t included in the accommodation price, which would have made the experience feel even more complete.

Absolutely STUNNING property—wow!! Even more beautiful than in pictures. The food was amazing—I ate at the restaurant almost every night! The pool was just gorgeous. The rooms were lovely and the bed so big & comfy. I loved the location and how peaceful and quiet it was. Just a short drive to the old town, but out of busyness and noise. But what made my stay truly unforgettable, and absolutely magical? Was the love and care of the incredible staff. Every single person interacted with was deeply kind and just an incredible human being really! Extra shout out to Katiuscia, Valentina, and Andrea for taking such good care of me! I was traveling alone as a woman and their care was so nourishing to my soul? They all went above and beyond helping me organize taxis, beach reservations, and ensuring I got a beautiful table at dinner even. I love this staff so much, and it is the humans of this Masseria that truly make it a magical & one-of-a-kind experience. This is the place you want to stay while in Otranto—anywhere else is out of the question! I cannot wait to come back next summer?

Staff were incredibly delightful. Valentina at front desk was overly accommodating. Claudia at the pool was a super-star. We had an INCREDIBLE meal at the hotel. Rooms were clean, pool was epic. Highly highly recommend

The property is very pretty in a great location with a beautiful pool and very good restaurant.very friendly and professional staff, particularly Katiuscia on Reception.Getting into Otranto was easy by driving or by taxi and about one hour to Lecce.

The location far from city, quiet and you can go for a bike ride or jogging straight from doorstep.Great breakfast, good massages.

Grass mowed in the afternoon when guests wanted to relax by the pool.

The resort was beautiful. Pool was gorgeous. Very relaxing. Excellent restaurant, ate there every night of our three nights.

Beautiful property located a short distance from Otranto. There is a lovely pool area to relax in and the on site restaurant is particularly good. A good breakfast is also available each morning

The only minor negative is that many of the rooms are closer together than the pictures show so there is no privacy sitting out on your terrace and there is poor sound proofing between the rooms.

Double bed was two singles together. Pool bar didn’t open in day but staff happy to Accommodate our orders at reception.WiFi and tv did not work.Staff were amazing. Food was amazing.

The room was amazing. Super peaceful area with a beautiful pool and spa facility. The included breakfast was amazing.The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful.The restaurant is a must, we tasted quite a few things and everything was absolutely delicious. 7 min away by car from the city center.Would definitely stay there again!

Small hotel, with like minded people. Spa, pool and restaurant were excellent.

Pool bar not open until 4.00 pm, although you could get drink from the hotel.

Lovely pool, excellent breakfast with plenty of options, including delicious homemade delicacies. If you have the opportunity, try the dinner at their restaurant (not included in room price) - it’s the best meal we had during our entire vacation in Puglia. Clean room and friendly staff. A short drive to the cozy town of Otranto.

The rooms is rather small, and the third bed is very hard. The little balcony gets very hot in the afternoon, but has no shade so we can’t sit there comfortably. Wifi is unstable. They can only serve very simple lunch that you have to pre-order in the morning, while the pool bar that offers snacks is only open at 4-7 PM. Since the location is quite remote with no other restaurants around, it makes you not want to stay there during the day.

You have to drive into the old town of Otranto so you can’t just leave the accom and walk around our breakfast wasn’t included in the price. Dinner was a beautiful romantic setting slightly pricey service was wonderful

Cost of the spa for 2 hours.Wanted you to stay by pool all day and found lunch wasn’t easy to get. Need a more casual lunch time menu.

The pool area was large, scenic and relaxing. We booked two massages and both enjoyed them a lot. The dinner was delicious. Bed very comfortable. No view from room but a little table in front of room was nice to sit at and we meet our nice neighbor that way and shared a glass of wine together.

Didn't feel historic, seemed like recent construction, and we were kind of thinking we'd be staying at a picturesque farm house. Also we were not happy that we couldn't use the spa facilities for free even though we had booked massages. I think if you are paying 80 euros for a massage, that you should be able to use the facilities. They wanted to charge us an additional 30 euros. It's why we stayed there, to have a relaxing spa day, so it was a bit frustrating.

Lovely staff, nice surroundings, foot path all the way to town. Very clean. Nice breakfast.

It was all lovely

The perfect spot for R&R with a kind and accomodating staff. The first day, they granted us early check-in and we relaxed by their outodor pool area. The room was spacious, well equipped and we slept exceptionally well. The next morning, they granted us late check-out so that we could have time to use their spa. The spa was perfectly indulgent: a warm pool, a cold plunge pool, a sauna, a turkish bath, and a warm and cold foot massage pool. Plus, the woman managing it was kind and caring; preparing for us plates with cookies and fruits.

That we didn't stay longer!

A lovely stay at Masseria Bandino in Otranto.We had some great dinners at the restaurant and the staff (especially the young waiter) were all very nice, polite, knowledgeable and helpful.

Unfortunately the internet in our room (room 16) did not work at all. The water in the pool was very cold - not sure if this is because of the size of the pool. It was lovely; just a bit cold.
