The proximity to town

We were given a not so favorable room the first night even though they had better rooms available. They switched us for the second night to a non-handicapped room though

Charming place with a first class maritime museum collection. Spacious room. Private parking lot right across the street. Only 5 minute walk from port and old town. Friendly staff.

Private parking is available, and the location is perfect for walking to the historic center. The decorations are great, and the nautical theme is in great shape.Delicious breakfast buffet.Friendly staff.

Very nice hotel close to the center of Otranto. Staff was very nice and helpful with local recommendations. Hotel had a great breakfast, and rooftop and very nice and clean rooms. The staff helped seemlessly organize a trip to a lido nearby

The staff was kind, polite and helpful. The breakfast was decent.

The hotel facilities were disappointing. The restaurant was closed. The jacuzzi was not working. The hotel said it has spa but upon checking they said the spa and sauna was in the nearby hotel which is 500m away. The room layout was strange and inconvenient. The hotel did not even put a bottle of water in the room which is a basic service expected from a 4 star hotel.

Locatie, but also staff is so friendly! Rooms are beautiful with lot of attention for the details. free parking spot in front of the hotel. We travelled with a very young child and they were so helpful.

Quirky nautically themed hotel on the edge of town with free parking.

We hadn't realized from the other reviews the nature of the walk to town, which involved crossing a roundabout. We could also hear a lot of what was going on in the neighbouring room. It was perfectly ok for one night, but wouldn't stay here again. Instead we'd choose somewhere closer in to the pedestrian area.

Wonderful location, close to the beach in Otranto and restaurants. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very clean with a super comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom.

Very nice hotel with a quaint and quirky maritime decor theme. Close to the center of Otranto and within walking distance of the town beach. Very friendy and accommodating girl in the reception. Oh, and there's a jacuzzi at the roof top terasse...

Location and interesting displays for the curious-minded. It was clean minus the humidity problem is the bathroom. Reception staff were helpful.

It was an ok hotel but definitely not worth nearly €200 a night. There were big shower leakages and the extractor fan didn’t seem to work - hence there was a fuzzy mould growing on the walls. While I know the climate of Otranto is quite humid, they need to take extra care that the shower unit is watertight and there is some way to dissipate the steam.The AC unit did work but it was quite loud even on the lowest fan speed.Breakfast way feeble and the waiter who made coffees was super busy.I would’ve rated the hotel higher if I paid less.

Charged for water in fridge, no signage to say there was a charge.
