    Pros +

    • Feels like you’re in an old Provençal estate. Great breakfast, hosts are the owners and live on site, nice parking lot, convenient if you are driving
    • Family run small hotel in a charming old building with interesting objects and antiques.Lovely food in the restaurant. Breakfast included home made crepes and cakes. Quiet location on the edge of Nimes.Convenient for the motorway. Secure free parking. Swimming pool and nice courtyard. Large bedroom nicely decorated with French windows either side.
    • Nice location, quiet

    Cons -

    • Need to drive from there to town, rooms are outdated and could use an upgrade
    • The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. For the price I had expected to be provided with water, tissues, safe box and a fridge would have been good too. No kettle in the room either so felt basic provision although in a nice large room in a rural setting with good service.
    • Small beds

    country location convenient for Nimes

    Beautiful great location

The French continue to hate The English. Grandma and her Grandson were however delightful

Easy parking, large room, good shower

Restaurant closed on sat night, bar closed at 8.45pm, barman locked up the hotel same time ?

Friendly, gorgeous old building with modern facilities. Great breakfast wish we had dinner the night before. Very convenient near main routes.

    Nothing!

Staff was very polite. The outside of the hotel is very charming. Easy free parking. They accept pets, which is great. We didn't use a restaurant so have no opinion in that matter.

We were staying in the standard twin room. It was a super small room (Manhattan hotel room size), entry door was almost hitting a bed, only couple outlets in the bedroom (lack of one next to one of the beds), mold in the shower, tiny bathroom- hard to move around, lack of even a toilet paper hanger, very loud room, AC was also making noises, rock hard pillows.

Nice spacious room, very large swimming pool, such a pleasant a garden to have dinner in. Good breakfast, really enjoyed my stay.

I needed some help finding the place as directions on Booking were about 3 km off

The hotel was in a quiet rural location, it had lots of character and excellent facilities, especially the pool, the owners and staff were delightful and very welcoming, and the food was superb.

Very friendly welcome and kindness throughout our stay. THe food was excellent . We ate there every evening. Fantastic Pool area. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Would have been nice to have tea or coffee making facilities. Very easy access for all the places we wanted to visit. No problem with parking and although we didn’t need it they had electric charging facilities.

Tea or coffee making facilities in room.

We booked this last minute on Booking.com and showed up about 30 minutes after we made the reservation. The staff ( it seems like a family operation) and room were not ready for our arrival. They were very gracious and let us have a picnic lunch on the property. The hotel, which seemed to be a farmhouse in the past, is a great property. Modern amenities mixed in with the older architecture worked amazing. The buffet breakfast was one of the best we had on our journey. While there is not much in walking distance, do not pass up on this place if you need to stay in the area.

    Mosquitoes.

This pleasant country hotel convenient to Nimes was a highlight of a multi country trip. Our hosts could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Be sure to have dinner there if you can. It's worth it.

    8DavidPosted on: 10-16-2022

As described very clean hotel, friendly staff, the restaurant served excellent food and we had plenty of choices with the breakfast buffet.

Better pillows and a larger shower.

    8EdwardPosted on: 10-5-2022

conveniently located to a planned winery visit

wifi was virtually nonexistent; parking is shared and marginally adequate.

    7LaurenPosted on: 9-16-2022

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall stay was nice and location, for me, was perfect.

The pool was very cold, granted it is outside but I was a bit surprised that it couldn't be heated somehow. It was on a warm day too.

lovely old building, we had dinner at the restaurant in the evening, superb meal, local produce

unfortunately our bed linen was not clean, mattress cover had a unpleasant stain, the pillows did not have pillow protectors, again stained, also the quilt was not pleasant, a real shame, as this really let the hotel down, the rooms also need some updating and redecorating

    10RamonaPosted on: 9-10-2022

    Great restaurant and good breakfast

Stairs to room must be several hundred years old - uneven and worn stone steps.

    1AlbertoPosted on: 9-8-2022

    Bad

was raining inside the room and the owners did not even apologize. they just pick up as during the night and moved to another room. we seemed to ha e botherd him.
