Pros +
- Beautiful building and very spacious room.
- Situation of the Hotel. We like the fact that the hotel is an 18 something years old building. The public spaces gave us a real feel of the age of the bulding and area where it's located. Overall, it was a good exeprience.
- Ambiance.
Cons -
- Location was a little off, especially when arriving at night. The street is extremely small, so not easy to drive wiht a bigger car. No parking. Public parking 2 blocks up the road, but again, walking alone at night from parking lot did not feel safe.
- No place to unload our luggages on the street. We had to park our car in a nearby shopping center and walk with our luggages on the street. The room itself was clean, the bed was good but it's a bit outdated and might require some refreshing.
- There are stairs to navigate your suite cases on even when you use the elveator just because of the way the old building needs to be perserved.

The building is beautiful and very unique it makes you feel like you are part of the past but with modern features and comforts in room.

the second room - Great restaurants near by. In the square behind and in the Marche.
On arrival we were offered an upgrade to a better room (103), from the Premium room we had booked. We should not have accepted it, dreadful bathroom, next to the lift and looking onto a noisy street. If you have a tricky, antiquated shower mechanism, provide an explanation, if the safe does not work, fix it.Moved on night two to a Premium room if we had taken this room on arrival we would have had no complaints.Great restaurants near by. In the square behind and in the Marche.
Excellent location. Interesting and very large, comfortable rooms and spaces. Staff helpful.
Our shower - and also my sister’s in a separate room- were terribly designed and sprayed water everywhere! Simple fix. Because of the old walls, wifi is terrible.
Traditional building, great location.
Rooms were small, with insufficient space for luggage.
The hotel had a central location and the staff was really great. Jerome helped us get a room better suited to my disability.
It is difficult to drop off luggage at the hotel upon arrival and departure, there is no parking out front. Although they have an elevator there is still a set of stairs you have to use to get to the room until Jerome changed our room. He saved our vacation! The few streets around our hotel had many closed shops so it felt a bit derelict. The hotel itself was great though.
Fantastically unique place to stay! The old world with modern amenities. We loved or stay and found the room to be huge, comfortable, and quiet. The location of the hotel is perfect for wandering the inner city of Nimes.
Maybe access to parking could be described a bit better for those driving. The location is in the pedestrian area of Nimes and parking is a few blocks away. Not a problem, but a bit confusing when arriving at the hotel and finding limited parking to even drop your bags.
Loved the architecture and the location
I found the tub in the bathroom difficult to get in and out of. I was afraid of slipping and falling
Location. Great to walk everywhere. The staff was very good.
The WiFi was very bad. Kept loosing connection.
My room was big, quiet, and comfortable. The building is in the old part of Nimes and is located near many of the cultural attractions and a short walk from the train station. It has a small central courtyard where you can have a drink or take your breakfast.
The central staircase is a phenomenal, beautiful feature. Our room was clean and functional. It was a standard so not particularly large but absolutely fine for one night. Good to have a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities (although no Breakfast tea).
The shower was over the bath rather than a walk in which we would have preferred. It was hot in the evening but in the morning, presumably because of increased usage, it only ran cold for quite a while. I gave up after a cold shower but my partner was lucky as the hot water did come back on again. Whilst the hotel is in easy walking distance of the Roman Area of Nimes, in itself it isn’t in a particularly ‘friendly feeling’ area. No hotel parking is a drawback - the stated car parks are not next door.
Very good, comfortable, staff very helpful. Room nice and spacious. Good breakfast except the coffee which wasn’t great. Good, central location.
See above re coffee plus the shower tap wasn’t working properly
Interesting place if you like very old, historical places. (a bit too creepy for me). I appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room.
The room was fantastic, really comfortable and great facilities. Amazing shower. Lovely coffee in the room. Very quiet building. Really close to everything.
The double bed was two singles zipped together which meant the bed kept moving apart which was a bit frustrating. However it was a beautifully comfortable bed!
The building is so beautiful and in a great location The room was clean, spacious and a fantastic shower room. Also, the breakfast was varied and superb
The location The breakfast The buildingThe bed
The hot water was tepid the first morning and cold the second. The noisy ac/heating unit.
The room was clean and comfortable. It included a terrace, which was a lovely place to sit when it was sunny. The location was perfect -- close to everything, yet a little off the main path, so it was quiet. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. The staff was exceptional -- very kind and helpful.
The room had no shower, as we knew. But the bathtub was very narrow, and it was difficult to use the sprayer in the bathtub without getting everything wet. This was the only issue though -- everything else was great.
