Pros +
- Staff was friendly, organized and helpful. Good value. Great location.
- Loved the location. Close to cafes & train station, but also in the historical center. Entirely walkable. I was a little nervous about checking in late, but it was simple, and the hotel was easy to find as well. The balcony overlooking the street. ? I also felt very safe.
- The room was big for one person, two might find it a little cramped. The en-suit was really close, like two steps from the bed. As for location it is just around the corner from the Arena.Staff are not always the but are very helpful when they are.
Cons -
- Water in the shower was not very hot, just warm after running it for a few minutes. There could be a small fridge for leftovers, maybe a hot water kettle, but it’s not a big deal. Also there was no coffee or anything in the lobby in the morning, but also no problem, as cafes were open early.
- About the only gripe with the Hotel (and I'm really begin super critical) would the narrow spiral staircase. Would not be easy if you had large bags. The only other "issue" is not with the Hotel but the garbage collectors and street cleaners coming round in the dead of night.

It was very well located and clean however the toilet was down a very winding staircase. Also it was incredibly hot as there was no air conditioning and it was the top floor.

The hotel's location is excellent, in the centre of the old city, minutes away from the Roman arena. The room was basic but comfortable, providing for all my needs. I enjoyed the breakfast served in the morning.
The only issue of note here are the stairs to the upper level rooms. I had no problems navigating them to the third floor, but they may prove to be an issue for anyone with mobility problems.
Small family run hotel 10 minutes walk from the train station. Staff were extremely friendly and made great suggestions on what to do/see. Breakfast was good for the price with bread/croissant and coffee. Room was small but comfortable for one person with nice bed.
The price reflects the facilities - typical of French buildings there was no elevator and walls were pretty thin. The plumbing in the shower/sink was poor and kept overflowing. The seperate WC didn’t have a mirror, soap or towel which would be ideal. Again, not necessarily bad things but typical of older French buildings.
Way too expensive and the rooms are dirty and smell
I liked that it is practically in the center, I vould not be closer to the arena and other monuments for this price. The room was ok for a short stay. It is small but for a traveller not expecting hotel to be atraction itself it was absolutely enough. The owner also have his charm and is a very nice and friendly guy, speaks perfect english.
For this price everything was adequate.
A very reasonably priced basic hotel in the centre of the old town.
for the price, nothing.
Friendly welcome from host Ralph. Central location, within a short walk to sightseeing spots and amenities. Clean facilities.
Nothing comes to mind.
Very friendly owner, convenient location
Rooms where a bit noisy, it's 3 levels up the stairs with no lift.
Great place, basic but good price, good location and clean.
Very nice reception, great tips on where to go.
Steep stairs indeed, especially when there's a fake fire alarm in the middle of the night. But hey, call it fitness...
Location and sympathy of the employees.
The bathroom was on the stairs and the building was under construction with a lot of noises and water falling over people entering the building
Ralf was helpful when I sent a message advising of a late arrival and later when requesting to leave my bags for the day after I checked out.
The rooms had very thin walls and I spent the evening listening to people shagging next door. Not their fault, they probably deserved some privacy! The steep narrow winding stairs are painful if you have any large bags, not fornthe feint hearted!
The owner/manager was very welcoming, the room was newly decorated and the hotel was central and a direct walk from the station.
Prefect location! A step away from the arena and less than ten minutes to the train station.
The facilities are not very clean. The towels and the beddings seem to be used before without washing. The pillow is not comfortable.
The room I had was comfortable and had a private bathroom. The shower had good pressure and the water stayed hot. The price and location of the hotel were great!I was close to everything! The staff was very helpful, especially Ralph, and I was able to leave my luggage downstairs on the last day when I had several hours before my train departure.
The sink in the bathroom was small but I just appreciated having my own bathroom! The narrow & steep staircase was a bit awkward, but the staff helped get the bags up and down.
Cannot recommend hotel highly enough as solo bike packer. I could leave bike in a safe place. It’s a classic old hotel with steep steps etc. Small room and wc shared, hence low in facilities. And this was reflected in price making it excellent value for money. Everything was clean and the location was excellent, just off from the Arena in the old town. And the host was truly excellent and really helpful with suggestions where to visit, eat etc. Ten out of ten.
The location in the historic center is excellent. Everything is just a few minutes walk. Convenience stores and restaurants nearby.
Nothing. The value for money is top notch.
