Tenuta Danesi is an amazing place full of charm and warmth. The hosts are wonderful and truly care about every guest. We stayed one night in a standard double room — beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable — and the second night in the Bubble Room, which was an unforgettable experience!The food and wine are exceptional, and the whole atmosphere is peaceful and elegant. A perfect combination of comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location with clean and comfortable rooms. About 15 minutes from Matera so if you want to visit the "Sassi" and not deal with the crowds and noise, definitely suggest staying here. We did not try the restaurant but breakfast was very good and fresh. Personnel super friendly. There also common terraces where you can sit and sip a glass of wine during sunset and just relax and enjoy the scenery.

The woman who runs it is amazing. The food was fantastic. For room service they sent us our food and the beautiful picnic basket. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We loved loved loved loved this hotel.

Even though we stayed only one night, we were amazed by the kindness of the host, with whom we communicated via Whatsapp. We had a very early check out, so we couldn't have breakfast but the host was so kind that he welcomed us with breakfast for the next morning nicely packed in the room. The room was extremely spacious and clean. It seems like everything is brand new. The room had access to a large terrace with a wonderful view. We are sorry that we did not stay longer in this hotel.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in rolling farmland with lovely views across to Matera from the raised hotel terrace. We ate in the restaurant, which we would recommend, for both the quality and value of the food, breakfast too was very good with a selection of hot and cold eggs and meat and especially the range of cakes and tarts all baked on site. A great place to stay for a visit to Matera and the surrounding area.

Beautiful design and fabulous location, we stayed in one of the bubbles suites which was breathtaking, lovely outdoor area. The food was excellent too - be sure to order room service, it’s served beautifully!

We didn’t have a bath which we were looking forward to. There were no desserts served at all except plain ice cream!

The swimming pool was awesome, great staff, comfortable bed, spacious room. Not too far driving distance to Matera. I would definitely go back.

When we stayed they had a wedding booked and it was a bit noisy until late at night.

This hotel is excellent! Super confortable, clean, spacious, the pool is amazing. The breakfast was super nice and Alessandra was super kind with us, she offered flowers and drinks as we were staying there for our honneymoon.
