The property was easy to find, great staff and had a wonderful stay. We would stay here again and definitely recommend.

From the moment we walked in, we knew this would be a very special place. As two travelers requesting single rooms, we loved how everything was modern and comfortable in the ancient cave rooms. Close to everything we came to see in Matera with lots of friendly advice on how to navigate the sassi on foot. Secure parking garage close by. Excellent breakfast of local products and you absolutely cannot beat the view from the terrace. I only wish we had stayed longer.

The views were incredible, really good shower, lovely staff, convenient location. In all, this is a fab place. I especially loved the Christmas decorations to include in our room. A very nice touch.

The hotel is really special. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The views from the patio are simply amazing and the cave rooms are cool and unique. Breakfast was also exceptional.

This cave hotel was absolutely perfect. We stayed on the ground floor in a spacious, beautifully appointed room that preserved the authentic cave atmosphere while offering every thoughtful modern comfort. They lit up a cistern underneath the room and you could peek into it as they placed glass on the floor - made for the most phenomenal night light ever! There was a pocket garden outside our room. David, the receptionist, was exceptionally polite, genuinely helpful, and excellent at giving clear directions for parking and orienting us to the town and its activities.Just outside the hotel, the view over Matera’s old town was nothing short of breathtaking. Breakfast was varied, generous, and consistently excellent. Truly made for a very memorable and magical stay.

II Belvedere offered us everything we wanted. Spectacular terrace views of the Sassi, very hospitable staff .

Beautiful, unique cave room. Unbeleivable view from breakfast terrace. Really pleasant staff that spoke good english. Great location for visiting the sassi. We were able to use the free parking where the front staff told us about.

Can't think of anything that could be improved.

The location was perfect. The staff were lovely. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast delicious. We wouldn't change a thing!!

Having to leave.

The view of the city was amazing and the location was great to park our car. Breakfast was perfect out on the patio listening to the bells ring. It was a great stay and exceeded our expectations.

There isn't a lot of parking and even though they tell you there is parking, there really isn't that much. You do not get private parking at the hotel which I thought we did.

Shower was separated from bathroom and water would leak out into the bedroom but other than that very clean and beautiful . Always very very expensive dive parking to leave the car (30€ for 2 nights )

We stayed in the Junior Suite and probably was one of our favorite places we ever stayed. Room was well renovated, quiet, air conditioned and an easy walk to the center of town. Breakfast was better than average with good coffees, breakfast choices and an amazing view of Matera. Super friendly staff!!

The location is excellent and easy to get to, you don’t need to drag your luggage around the town! Beautiful, clean, comfortable and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was a great value and the VIEW!

I wish we knew about parking prior to arrival - not a big deal but had to loop around the town since it is one way street.

View and the terrace excellent to enjoy the old town , mattress super to sleep and very good breakfast. Staff very helpful.

EVERYTHING! Just wow. Come to matera and stay here you will never regret it. The staff was helpful, kind and happy. The view is definitely one of the very best I have ever seen and I have seen some fantastic views in my life. Matera is magical. Our cave room was gorgeous, the air condition was perfect, the breakfast was very good and I am still dreaming of our wonderful stay with the wonderful people here. We will never forget it.

There is nothing not to like it is amazing.
