Hotel Monte Sarago

Not much.

Booked this hotel because it looked nice online. My experience was not that. The vibes of the hotel are off, the bed is solid as a rock, there were ants and mosquitoes in my room. And whatever you do - don’t treat yourself to a room with a view. You will have constant street noise all night long. The hotel is on a busy road. Do yourself a favor and book a nice airbnb in town and not this place on the outskirts.

Excellent restaurant - one of the best we had during a month long stay in Italy. Try the cod! Also the spa was lovely.

We chose the hotel as we had hired a car so needed somewhere with parking; the car park was across the street & secure. It was only a 10 minute walk into the old town too. Breakfast was good with lots of options; fruit, cheeses, croissants, cakes etc

Friendly staff, the room was very big, the location is in a good spot only a 10 min walk into the main town area, bus stop right outside the hotel and the beach is only a 15 min journey. Breakfast had a limited number of choices but the food was very good.

The location is absolutely perfect - walking distance to all the main attractions, great restaurants nearby, and easy access to public transportation. We felt like we were right in the heart of everything without any of the noise or chaos.One of the biggest reliefs was the parking situation. No circling the block or worrying about our car - such a stress-free experience.The real standout, though, was the exceptional service, particularly from Teresa at the front desk. From the moment we checked in, she went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Her warm, professional demeanor and genuine care for guests really set this hotel apart. You can tell she truly loves what she does.The room was clean and comfortable, amenities were top-notch. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great location, convenience, and outstanding hospitality.

Parking is easy, free, and outside the ZTL zone of Ostuni. The hotel room itself has all the modern amenities and had room service everyday. Breakfast buffet was great and the staff downstairs were very accommodating for food allergies. The bar terrace has nice views but is expensive.

Keep in mind the property is outside of Ostuni, not downtown: you need to walk about 15 minutes to get into the city center. Some traffic noise. No view from the room, window just looked at a concrete building.

The location is 10 minutes walking to the old town, no need to take the car, the view from the room was very nice, breakfast was great, big selection of everything, clean and tidy. Stuff wad friendly and helpful, parking was convenient and safe.

All was perfect

Facilites and ample room (it was a first floor for disabled guests). A friend couple had a 4th floor room smaller and a third couple had the same floor with larger dimensions. Shower space was small and uncomfortable in 2 of the 3 rooms. So be specific about it if it matters to you. In general very good hotel. The third floor terrace with spectacular view all the way to the sea. Distance to historic center within 15 minute walk. Great parking very convenient. Staff outstanding very kind and helpful. Breakfast is a buffet with a large variety of foods for all tastes and choices.

Lovely comfortable room. Good quality very comfortable bed and bed linen. Excellent restaurant with good choice and substantial portions.

Nothing to dislike but maybe if you have difficulty walking the short slightly uphill walk on uneven pavements to the centre might not suit you. We had no difficulty and we are 82 and 77.

Nice hotel with everything you need to enjoy your holiday!Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast with plenty of choices, spectacular views from terrace restaurant.We didn't have a chance to visit spa due to the time limitations, however the rest of facilities were great.We enjoyed our stay!

Lovely welcome from Paola and team in reception. Food in restaurant excellent with lovely views. Magdalena was very helpful as front of house. Graziano came to rescue when a large wasp entered through open window. Thank you will stay again!

very nice breakfasts; restaurant on the roof is also very good with reasonable prices; the wifi was perfect for working remotely (maybe because it was winter and less busy); loved the spa (be sure to book in advance especially on weekends); nice, friendly staff; extremely clean rooms; secure parking.

Comfortable bed, clean and warm room. Very pleasant staff. Good breakfast.

Recycling truck collecting bottles at 5 am on Sunday morning made a lot of noise. Not the hotel’s fault but it made us jump.
