This place is a gem. Relaxing, comfortable. The food was excellent, both included breakfast and dinners that are extra. And the staff was friendly and professional. I speak Italian and enjoyed talking with our efficient breakfast and dinner waiters: Adriano, Mimo and Francesco.

I didn't like driving on the very very narrow roads to get to the place but they have no control over that.

The staff were so kind and welcoming to our family. We really enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner. The hotel is very intimate and as architects, we appreciated the design of the rooms and how they re-used the trulli to create special spaces. We had a very comfortable stay.

A fairytale-like place. Staff lovely, room quite comfortable and unique, a sumptuous breakfast buffet, innovative dinner menu, especially the pastas and the monk fish.

One of the best Italian country side experiences money can buy. The property is gorgeous. Rooms very memorable, super spacious, and loved the overall orientation of all room amenities.

Non Italian TV entertainment could be a challenge

The hotel rooms are typical construction: simple and charming. Gardens are really beautiful and the restaurant is noteworthy. The atmosphere is relaxing, staff is welcoming

Overall, the hotel was nice, but I was disappointed with the hygiene and the way my concern was handled. The bed sheets were not clean, and when I reported this around midnight, the receptionist initially told me room service was gone. She came to inspect the issue but didn’t offer to change the sheets immediately—instead, she suggested switching rooms, which I didn’t find reasonable at that hour. After some back and forth, she eventually changed the bedding herself but placed the duvets on the floor during the process, which didn’t feel hygienic either. For the price paid, I expected a higher standard of cleanliness and customer service.

Absolutely stunning location and accommodation. Beautiful room with everything you would need. Pool fabulous. The receptionist was helpful.

Other Staff could be more helpful. Food was OK not great value for money. Didn't serve food throughout the day or have bar in the evening for drinks

The property is a gem. We liked everything. My only comment is suggest to arrive during the day if you are not familiar with the area.

Wow. This place was absolutely incredible. The rooms are immaculate, super stylish and so comfortable. The grounds are heavenly. You can take a stroll through some of the most beautiful Puglian countryside. The staff were so warm, welcoming, and attentive to every need. And the food. My goodness. It was some of the best food we had in Italy. We will be dreaming about coming back to Borgo Canonica.

Stunning Trulli hotel in beautiful countryside. Gorgeous pool with enough shaded and unshaded sun loungers scattered around it and the surrounding garden area. Delicious dinners and breakfasts. Clean and comfortable rooms. Our bathroom was huge and the double shower was a particular treat. Staff were helpful but kept discreetly in the background. We really enjoyed our stay overall and the below points are just finesses that would make the hotel even better!

Would be great if the bar stayed open later into the evening. Would have been nice to be able to come back and have a drink after driving to a nearby town for dinner. Coffee was surprisingly disappointing for Italy but food and drinks otherwise good. Complimentary mineral or filtered drinking water in the rooms would be a nice touch.

Sun lounges need cushioning, softer pillows on beds (feather), breakfast buffet could be upgraded and improved, lunch menu needs more variety, improve on snacks in mini bar,

Everything was great, from the location, to the facilities, to the food. Very friendly staff.

Sometimes the service at the restaurant and bar was a bit slow, but it can happen when there is not a lot of staff (who was great and cordial by the way)!

Lovely setting and gorgeous property, really nice rooms and facilities. Well looked after and clean with good local towns and eateries, location is fantastic.

The attention to detail was lacking around the guest areas and the staff on the whole weren’t the most friendly. It felt a little bit like by being a guest you were an inconvenience. I’m sure they were doing their best but it just lacked any real customer service. Especially when you compare it to other similar properties in the area.
