Semiramide Palace Hotel

It is a good base to explore Bari, Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, Matera, Ostuni, etc withoit worrying about parking, which is always an issue in visiting medieval places. Breakfast buffet was included and it had some warm food and not just continental breakfast.

The bacon was too salty, scrambled eggs too dry.

The location is very good since it is close to all main attractions in Puglia. The room was clean, stuff friendly. Delicious breakfast and free parking on suite. Every recommendation!

The garden and breakfast were good.

1. Very noisy due to the glass manufacturing plant Vetrerie Meridionali S.p.A located next to the hotel. The plant is working 24/7 and produces a lot of noise even when the window closed. 2. The air conditioning is poor and cannot be adjusted.3. If you don't have a swimming cap you can't use the pool.

Location

Very poor breakfast - we arrived to breakfast at 9 am and there was almost nothing left. Keep in mind that breakfast is until 10:30 am. We waited approximately 30 minutes and asked for bread at least but unfortunately nothing.

Everything was perfect!The room was clean and spacious, with daily towel and sheet changes - big thanks to the housekeeping staff for their great work.The location is perfect for visiting nearby towns like Alberobello and Polignano.Highly recommended!

The guy making pancakes for breakfast, should not be so shy with the Nutella next time ??

Everything was nice. Clean comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Small pool. Staff very nice and helpful.

The hotel is dated but maintained. The grounds are over grown and need attention. No water in the rooms. No towels at the pool and required a swim cap (which they sell and inconsistently enforce).

I did not like anything at this place. Very disappointed and upsetting.

This was a terrible experience, we stayed two nights in two different rooms one worse than the other. The first room was a handicap room with the bathroom fixtures falling off the wall, the sheets were not clean. I requested a refund and it was denied.We moved to another room that looked better, with a tub and shower, when taking a shower the floor was flooded, the bathroom door disintegrated at the bottom from old water damage as well as the rug outside the bathroom. The worst hotel experience, I don't recommend it for any type of stay. Very disappointed and not economic.

The staff was so helpful and kind and we had clean towels every day. The breakfast was good you have a options.

In the room we didn’t had bottle of water and coffe like in the other hotels.

Low price on a hotel that have seen better days, in my opinion some stars should be removed... As for example loose shower cabin door, bed should have been changed many years ago ...

Dinner at hotel restaurant in evening was a catastrophe. Fixed menu and price, you cannot take part and pay partly..The food were long from a Italian cousin, I say no moor. If I should have included the restaurant in booking rating it have totally got 3-4...

The staff för reception is professional. The door have a problem. And he lost. The nice Tim Clean top 5Smail all time. But the breakfast not same before. Respect all person.Hotel ? 5 star. Not 4 star. Every think professional.Just breakfast.....?????

The breakfast had vast selection. Location is superb when hiring car, a large parking is available. Beds are comfortable. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

Room had smoking smell. TV channels do not work. AC was on heating and could not be changed, the room was too hot and when opening the window alot of mosquitos enter so not ideal.

Buffet breakfast was very good with assortment of food and drink. The host was very nice and offered us discount tickets to 'Hell in a cave'. Location was good, and no problem parking. Room was clean and quiet.

24/7 reception, friendly and pleasant staff. The breakfast is really full of different food, the rooms are spacious. We were extremely satisfied.

Lovely staff everywhere! Had one pasta which was decent.

Aircon can only be controlled by calling reception each time. Dont pick the place for the breakfast, its just stale bread and overcooked eggs. Everything is a bit run down and it lost its shine, but price was accordingly.

Great value for money. Nice decorated room, friendly staff, nice view, ok breakfast (cakes should be more fresh) with variety, beautiful place to have breakfast
