Cons -
- A little bit in the middle of nowhere.
- The food service. When I made the reservation I was approached by a man who asked what I wanted for dinner. It was then that I deduced that the advertised family run restaurant with local dishes was not operating. With the language barrier between us, I agreed to a cheese plate to start (bruschetta or a caprese couldn’t be done. That to be followed by a meat dish, I wanted something fresh. So I declined salmon (which couldn’t be fresh and would have been farmed) and also various types of sausage and cured meats. I asked about beef, and was offered hamburger. I settled on chicken. When I came down to dinner, the cheese plate was simply that. Three kinds of non-descript cheese with a small tub of honey and one of marmalade. No real effort to dress the plate, no crackers, nuts or even toasted bread slices. But at least it was real cheese. Then the chicken dish arrived. One small chicken breast and some potatoes. The potatoes were of the type that one would see on the self service breakfast buffet at the economy type of American hotels, labeled as breakfast potatoes. Commercially precooked, packaged, sold and reheated to serve. Rubbery and tasteless. The chicken was thin, dry, stringy, tough and tasteless. Also precooked and reheated. I returned the plate and the “cook’ approached and tried to convince me that I was wrong and that he had freshly cooked everything. I have spent more than 40 years in the hospitality industry and I know reheated food when it is presented to me.The chicken plate was replaced with a piece of saute’d fish covered with a melange of raw sliced cherry tomatoes and sliced black olives. Accompanied by a raw, sliced tomato. Nothing else. No dressing, no seasoning, no pasta, rice or any starch. No effort. So my entire dinner consisted of some pieces of cheese, a piece of fish, some tomato and a small amount of olives. For which I believe I was charged Euro 30.
- Staff nice but cold....Except Gino the Cook...he was always singing

Everything!! It’s a marvelous place. The whole estate (it truly is) is beautiful and very well maintained. Enormous rooms, clean and nicely decorated. Huge pool with sun beds. Good breakfast with very friendly service. Pet friendly (no charge), they also loved it here. Huge parking lot.
Absolutely nothing to complain about (we wish we could stay here forever :-))
It is a beautiful property with lush gardens and a great swimming pool. The suites are large, beautiful, welcoming and clean.
Room spacious and clean. Location tranquil. Personnel very friendly
Good pool. Fair menu. Good good. Nice old building. Screens and doors a bit run down. Good a/c. Good shower and water pressure.
Perfect for families. The pool was gorgeous and the location was tranquil and peaceful. The staff were welcoming and warm. We will be back for sure.
Convenient location
The pool wasn’t very clean, limited choice for dinner
Amazing garden with many palm and oleandr trees.
Very arogant male staff at reception, the others were friendly and kind. Out-of-date room equipment. There is an oven and a cooker in mezonet room but no utensils which is funny. Very poor wifi signal.
Beautiful hotel set in well planted grounds. Our family loved the large inviting pool which never felt busy. It was such a large site and spacious building that it to never felt busy - calm ambience. Huge beautiful rooms. Friendly staff. Nice food.
You need a car to get there. Fine for us but could be tricky.
very spacious with great people to offer their support and advice
too cool to swim but the pool looked amazing.
Wonderful pool - excellent place to sit and relax after a long day driving.Nice big quite bedroom Friendly staffJust off the main road so easy to get to but a car is a must if you want to do anything
Food was not up to scratch. Give the evening meal a miss, it was awful.
The staff was very friendly and helped us with all that we needed. Breakfast was so good and the garden is beautiful.
Big pool with warm water
It is outside the city and there is no bar in the hotel
the gardens are beautiful as is the building, it is not too far from a town for anything you need
the air conditioning vent in our room was so high up that the room didn’t really cool down sadly, it has such a high ceiling maybe that’s didn’t help I don’t know. upon checking out I think they had to wake someone up to serve me and he couldn’t provide me with a receipt for my stay as I paid cash so I had to get one emailed
The place is amazing, not so far from the main road but far from everything to have a perfect recharge. Gino is an amazing person and every detail of the place makes us calm down and relax.
Superb location and tranquil. great swimming pool..
breakfast cereal lacking, no muesli or granola, otherwise delicious with Cakes and Tarts!
Lovely old building, big rooms, pet friendly and very nice staff
An excellent base from which to explore the area, with big rooms and a wonderful garden and swimming pool and secure parking. Great breakfast.
Evening meal a bit basic, half board with very limited choice, ok but not great, and no apparent wine list
