Hotel Pirate Old Town

The food was excellent and the views were stunning. Going to sleep to the sound of the waves was so relaxing. I'd happily book my next vacation here again.

The room had a brilliant view out over the sea and sunset. The stafff were friendly and accommodating.

Probably the best location to stay in Ulcinj city : inside the old town & easy to reach, nice view on sea & cliffs, 2 min walk from a small beach (without much people). Very good restaurant with excellent wines. And a very friendly staff, eager to please you.

Windows shields were broken due to high wind. My 1st breakfast was poor, but the team reacted and you 2n breakfast was top.

What a view! Such friendly staff, and Nuri was so kind..very friendly ..carried our bags up to the first floor for us, and organized a taxi to the bus station as well . Best coffee from the barista! Delicious breakfast with indoor or outdoor seating..

Great location on the edge of the old town and the water. Super nice and accommodating staff.

Views were amazing from the balcony. Personnel were very friendly. We were traveling offseason, and the late check out was possible.

Rooms are in a need of serious repair in many ways, so do not expect a five stars luxury stay. Quite a lot climbing the get to the hotel, so maybe not the best choice for older people.

Delightful hotel right in Ulcinj Old Town with gorgeous sea views from front rooms. Simple but tasteful room and bathroom design with all the small touches that make for a great stay - kettle, plenty of sockets, drinking water, safebox, decent shower. Excellent breakfast with something to suit everyone.

I loved everything. However, there are a lot of steps both to access this hotel and once you're inside so perhaps not the best choice for those with mobility issues.

Lovely hotel with a good sized room with lovely view. The dinner we had was probably the best we had in Montenegro. Obviously a good chef.

There was only one cup, one glass, one tea bag and no water in the room when we arrived. For such a lovely hotel it lack the finishing touches. The walk to the hotel was up a hill as parking is a bit away and then a steep walk up to the front door. It was quite tough pulling the suitcases up. They may need to warn people that for the elderly It’s a bit of a climb. They could do with a cart to take you up!

We had a spacious suite with a balcony overlooking the sea. Great for watching the sunsets. The hotel is in a good location in the old town. Close to the main gate so not far to walk as the old town is pedestrian only. Lots of good restaurants close by. A nice breakfast, great omelettes to order.

This hotel is in the most amazing location, on the cliff, in the old town Ulcinj. The view from the room is unparalleled, uninterrupted across the Adriatic. The sunsets (and storms) are fantastic. The room size is good and has a great aesthetic.

Time for a refurb! Everything needs an update and thorough makeover. The bedding and towels need updating. No tea, coffee, or complimentary water.

The hotel is in the old town and we had a large sea view room, with a great view over the sea. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and the extensive breakfast was a delight. There are a number of very good restaurants within a very short walk, so the hotel is well located. Car parking is about 200m away, all uphill to the hotel, some over cobbles. The cost is 15 euros for an 8-24 hour stay, but there was lots of room in the car park, as the locals park elsewhere.

We enjoyed our stay, but the distance from the car park to the hotel for luggage transfer maybe an issue for some. Also there is no lift.

We had a room with a sea view and we had a 3D experience, visual, sound and scent of the sea.

Incredible hotel, the staff is very nice (thanks again Nuri) and the view…. Amazing ! I highly recommend !

The breakfast was good by average

Location - right in the old town of Ulcinj and on the cliff edge overlooking the sea. Magnificent views of the sea and coastline. 10 minute walk from the Ulcinj center. 5 minute walk to 'beach'entry. Size of accommodation - Pretty much a large two bedroom apartment. Perfect for 3-4 people or a family. Friendly and attentive breakfast waiter despite language barrier

Lack of attentive service and greeting - We were surprised to learn that we could not drive up to the hotel. The walk to the hotel from the edge of the old town is not the easiest with luggage and quite slippery at certain points. This should have been communicated beforehand. The greeting we got was also quite odd and it seemed like the two gentlemen in charge were too busy with other things. Kitchens staff seemed grumpyMediocre breakfast - Breakfast buffet was mediocre, and definitely nothing like what is shown in the pictures. Scruffy accommodation details - AC units did not work properly. Maintenance of the room was so so (balcony doors did not open properly because pieces of the floor were sticking up) Security - the building is accessible to the public and the door to enter it did not lock at night.

Bed was used, dirty sheets. I had to insist twice to change them. Very rude staff, they didn’t want to give me the bill. They charged me the room in my room and they wanted cash.

Not able to hang the towels in the room. Parking is difficult but the owners kindly helped us on it.

The property is on cliff edge in the old town with breathtaking views . The views from hotel room have that wow factor . Although you have numerous choices of restaurants in the surrounds the food in hotel is just as good anywhere ,breakfast was excellent.The staff are very obliging and friendly . This is our second visit to this Hotel it won’t be our last .
