Club Dubrovnik Sunny Hotel by Valamar

Great location right along the beach. Very clean and well kept. All meals were provided during our stay which was perfect for days when we were done with a tour and just wanted to come back to the hotel and lay down but hadnt had dinner.

The only thing I didnt like was that I wish more rooms just had single queen beds instead of the double twin bed we got.

Swimming pool is great and Maro's World is amazing. Very good reception staff.

A bit more veriety in a restaurant. Soft drinks during breakfast/brunch, but only water for dinner.

Loved everything about hotel. Pool was superb. Right next to beach. Buffet was excellent with such a huge variety. Rooms were very comfortable. Very clean. Location was perfect. Bus stop outside takes you straight to.Old Town in 15 mins

The property is in a beautiful location overlooking the water.

The rooms were tiny and there were never any staff on reception. It also did nothing to offer alternative eating spaces other than the breakfast fort which was hit and miss with the quality.

From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were welcoming and professional. A big thank you to Matey on reception, who went beyond expectations to help resolve a booking issue. We were upgraded to a seaview family suite with a balcony, the seaview being a bonus. Both rooms were spacious, modern, and clean. The views were spectacular and breathtaking. The hotel facilities were great, the swimming pool, sports facilities , and lounge areas.The restaurants had various stations with a variety of food, which was regularly restocked. The brunch option was a welcomed bonus. MaroWorld and Maro Theatre is another bonus with a range of activities for kids of all ages. Access to Ps5 and Nintendo was perfect for teenage kids. The beach is pebbly and small but welcoming.

Nothing, but I would suggest timeslots in MaroWorld for playstations, etc, and maybe some activities that cater to teenagers who are not gamers/sporty.

Hotel rooms was very tired and dated considering the cost. Also families should not have to pay for a cot as an extra, most hotels include on request

Pool area was never crowded, there is a nice pool for kids. Mary world kids zone is something extraordinary if you are traveling with kids, this service already makes your vacation excellent

At least kids pool could be heated, it was 22 degrees. I missed nice hair shampoo, conditioner or a mask. This is something that you usually find in a good hotel. Here it was only one general hair and body wash.

we made booking for 6 nights, when we went there was absolutely disappointing. the toilet in the room was broken, the baby bed wasn't. food was very, but very modest. and for the beach beds we needed to pay other 80 daily. which was bit too much, we paid for 2 days 500 and for half board they even couldn't offer normal water, we left after 2 days. unfortunately we can't offer 0 starts.

Beautiful location with a very friendly staff and nice buffet. Wonderful pool with views and near by the bus station to Old town Dubrovnik. The Maro World park is a must if you are staying with kids, they gonna love it.

Facilities and Staff were wonderful. Meals are ample with a lot of variety but nothing fancy. As a tip - there are 2 dining and buffet areas. The one on the east side of the hotel is smaller and less crowded. Maro world is a short walk away and a fantastic place for kids. We used the bus extensively to go to Old Town. Bus tickets for sale in the gift shop in the hotel lobby. Family of 3: 2 adults, one child on a 'twin' bed, all in the same room.

Small things. The further you get from the lobby - the quieter it is. Something to consider when selecting a room. Rooms are a bit small, and feel a bit dated - but you are not spending much time in the room. If you are not in the EU and reserving through Booking.com or another website - be aware that your reservation is made in local currency and not Euros. Actual price paid at the hotel upon departure may be more or less depending on the exchange rate for that day. Our cost went up by about 10% which was a little bit of a surprise.

It would be nice to have more options for the food, sometimes repetitive and to include more fish. For the hotel next to Adriatic sea would be expected to have fresh fish as well. Coffee should be better quality. It was nice to have the full board

The room had no Fridge, no tea or coffee making no kettle facilities the third bed was a chair that converted into bed. For the price you are charged I would have expected a proper third bed If you have difficulties with stairs they are a lot of them to get to the pool. the Hotel is at the bottom of a very steep hill which you need to climb up to get to the bus stop or get a taxi

The location is great, by a nice beach to watch the sunset. Breakfast, brunch and dinner are good, but very repetitive.

The pool becomes extremely noisy, ok for families but not the best for couples travelling alone seaking a relating time. Also the pool closes 1h too early (at 19h). Too expensive for what it is (not their fault, they charge what tourists are willing to pay). Rather stay near sunny beach.

Hotel location is good, pool was large and clean. Food was very good, hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable, I can definitely suggest for a family leisure.

The only thing that I can complain is, before going there, I was asking questions over booking but I did not get any responses. They are not good about that.

The room with the view was amazing, nice, modern, and clean. The room was quite small ( 2 adults and one child), but it was ok for us as we spent most of the day outside by the pool anyway. Nice restaurant with perfect food. There was everything you needed and everything your children needed as well. I believe no one stays hungry. It's a light all-inclusive, but you have everything, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel has a great Maro World, where we spend time with our son after dinner. It's a paradise for the kids. Pool area is very nice. The only thing we didn't really like were the hotel prices. But we knew that Dubrovnik is expensive, so be ready to pay for alcohol and drinks at the bar.

Absolutely nothing. This hotel was the biggest catfish and waste of money. It doesnt specify anywhere that this is a KIDS hotel. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful which is extremely disappointing when you pay 650 euro for one night. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. This hotel was the biggest headache, they charged me two weeks early with no communication and then they tried to charge me for someone elses washing and took money out of my account multiple times without my permission which was a headache to chase up and the hotel does not reply to messages or emails.
