    Pros +

    • Great staff, really kind and nice people. Security guys are great and very helpful. Great breakfast! Highly recommended.
    • • Staff are incredibly hospitable and friendly. From the security guards to the reception desk to the breakfast servers, everyone made our stay comfortable and memorable• Our family room was nicely distributed and spacious, was exactly what we needed• Buffet breakfast was also very good • Very near to where we had to stay in Amman, but its takes around 20mins to drive to the city center. For us this wasn’t an issue but for other tourists looking to stay around more “must visit places” it might be too far
    • Very clean Staff vey helpful and polite

    Cons -

    • • Hot water heater has to be manually turner on and is limited to 50 liter capacity at a time. 2 family members were running the shower at the same time and in about 7-8mins the water was ice cold. They had to step out and wait around 25mins for water to heat, wasn’t fun• Parking is limited to the street outside the hotel, can be tricky to find a place • AC is centrally controlled and was set to around 24C during our stay, meaning we couldnt turn up the heating during a very cold and rainy day
    • U can just take a bath for 5 minutes after that the water will be cold , while checking out it was raining , I asked the receptionist if she can help me to order a taxi well she said I don’t have this option so I went under the rain to find a taxi , although the bell out helped me with my luggage ? the ride ,
    • The pillows need to be replaced with new ones.

Staff and Location.I haven't seen any staff like the one in Lijam Hotel. They are very helpful and made our stay in Amman so easy especially Mohammed in the reception.

The pillows need to be replaced with new ones.

The food in general is very good but at the buffet it is always the same. The first night I had local food that was truly wonderful. The rooms are very nice. The staff is polite and very kind. I had to change money at the Western Union 1 block away and their security walked me there and back. That was above and beyond. The hotel is right across the street from 3 or 4 restaurants including the most popular in Jordan - the Planet Donut chain. The location for driving is very easy - about 15 minutes from the downtown area.

The shower is hot but you only have about 5 minutes of hot - I'd like a little longer shower HOWEVER, Jordan has very limited water and I believe the short shower is a reflection of the hotel's desire to spar water.

I recently stayed at Al Lijam Hotel in Amman and had a truly excellent experience. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and highly professional, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The rooms were spotless, with a high standard of cleanliness that truly stood out. I would like to especially commend the cleaning staff, who were respectful, humble, and exceptionally professional in their work. Their attention to detail and courteous attitude added great value to my stay.Overall, Al Lijam Hotel offers not only comfort and cleanliness but also a warm and professional environment. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Amman.

The breakfast at Al Lijam Hotel is great and enjoyable, offering fresh and tasty options to start the day. However, I believe the experience could be even better with a wider variety of food choices, including more local and international options to cater to different preferences.Additionally, I would suggest serving the coffee in a dedicated coffee dispenser rather than a general hot water container, as it would enhance both the presentation and taste.Overall, it's a satisfying breakfast, and with a few improvements, it could be truly exceptional.

1- Staff2- Breakfast3- Comfy Bed and pillows4- Quiet5- The complementary water and tea.6- Receptionist Miss Ramees been amazing customer oriented who went to the extra mile to make my stay such a good one. Thank you

It was strange, once I stepped in to my room I realized that my room needed to be vacuumed, my pillow cases and one of the towels had long hairs. I thought the next day things would be different, housekeeping took care of the towels but room hasn't been vacuumed yet. It was strange. But I'm sure this ain't the policy and it's an individual mistake. But it's still a good hotel despite everything.

Thanks to Nassreen and all the staff. this hotel has become my second house. Also the location and all everything near to it (LITERALLY, restaurant, supermarket)

    really nothing.

    7TuralPosted on: 4-4-2025

It was as described in reviews: it is clean, neat, worth for money. Noisy until 22:15 pm since there was a wedding party and was impossible to sleep, neither get a drink in bard.

It was an exceptional experience. My wife, our three kids and I enjoyed our stay at the Lijam Hotel, the 2 bedroom Suite was large, spacious, and very comfortable. Our suite had a connecting balcony too, which excited the kids, the living area also had a small balcony. It was located right in front of the local mosque so it was super convenient for us to wake up and walk to the mosque for early morning prayers (fajr). There were also a few cafe's and a small supermarket very close to the hotel (1 to 2 minutes walk). All of the staff, from the receptionists, the waitresses at the breakfast, to the security personnel, they were all super nice and friendly. If I understood correctly the hotel is still going through some construction work, so in the future there will also be a swimming pool and a gym which is going to be even fantastic.Parking was freely available around the hotel, in the public street but it is super safe in Jordan. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Amman.Microwave in the suite was super useful.Wifi connection was super fast.Breakfast was good, with lots of options for everyone.Ideal location.Feedback for improvement:The locker in our room was locked and broken, in an unusable state, this must have been replaced. It will be great to have at least 2 or 4 Dishes (depending on the number of beds) and a few cutlery as it is a family suite, plenty of kitchen pantry cabinets but all of them were empty. The balcony was super dirty and the balcony furniture was unusable because it was not cleaned by the housekeeping staff, we know it was winter in Jordan but in the afternoon when the sun was out it was pleasant but we could not use them.

Very comfortable, clean, great view, good location, and being able to order room service from the restaurant downstairs was amazing. Food was out of this world.

Only issue is the hot water. You get a decent amount, but It does run out.

I enjoyed my stay at Lijam Hotel for several reasons. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive, always willing to help. The location was convenient, offering easy access to nearby attractions. I also appreciated the delicious breakfast and the overall peaceful atmosphere.

One aspect I found a bit inconvenient was the swimming pool being occupied for training sessions, which prevented my children from swimming. Although I understand the importance of these sessions, it would have been helpful to be informed about the schedule in advance to avoid any disappointment. However, I appreciated the staff's responsiveness once they noticed our discomfort.

The hotel in General has family vibes, it is comfortable for family stays. The breakfast Buffet is mainly local food, which is super nice, the team in the restaurant is amazing !

It has two or three ball rooms, it is getting so crowded to get a parking, despite the fact that it gets so noisy, the rooms are not sound proof.Apparently they have out sourced the room cleaning services, it is not good as it used to be before. The facilities in the room needs to be properly maintained, specially the electric work, one of the plugs almost caused a fire as the it was malfunctioning while using the washing machine in the room, they have changed it the next day. Though the reception team was aware that I will be extending my stay for unknown time, they suddenly informed me that I have to evacuate the room, as it got booked, despite the fact that I am visiting the reception desk 5 times a day, no one has bothered to inform me at least one day ahead. They have refused to cooperate at all.
