Hotel Al Caminetto

I really enjoyed my stay. A very welcoming family business, all hosts are so nice. Breakfast was good and sufficient, but dinner was spectacular: various local tasty meals and hearty service - full recharge after a day of skiing. Thank you very much, I can't recommend it enough!

The hotel was old fashioned in the best way possible. Welcoming, simple and with excellent food and service.

Location great - I had a hire car, free parking nearby, not on site. Breakfast - continental great. Dinner authentic home cooked, generous portions and refills if desired. Nice selection of wines (you pay extra but fair prices). Super clean place all round. Simple and family run - a delight.

My room might be considered small for a couple, it was fine for me and at the price I have no complaints. I think due to the age of the building there is a bit of noise transfer but all guests were in bed early so not a problem on my visit. Everyone is skiing, so up early and you can hear the activity.

It's located in the heart of Valtournenche, 1 minute's walk to the bus stop for buses to and fro Cervinia and train/ bus station. From the hotel, there are easy walking trails to enjoy the pretty surroundings of Valtournenche.Awesome value - The complimentary breakfast and dinner were amazing in terms of the selection, taste and quantity! One can tell how generous they are. I was given numerous top-ups during dinner and breakfast was buffet-style. When I asked for cafe latte, I was given a pot of coffee and another pot of hot milk! I really love long coffee!In a nutshell, Hotel Al Caminetto is a must- stay when you're visiting Breuil-Cervinia! Go and experience their hospitality as the owner, Nicola personally welcomes you, serves your meals and at your assistance at all times!
