Cocorico Luxury House - Porto

This boutique hotel only had 10 rooms allowing the staff to cater to your needs. The rooms were large, comfortable and unique...exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was quite spacious with a beautiful farmhouse/spa like tub, extremely inviting. The breakfast was really good and cooked to order and complimented with a vast variety of fresh baked croissants and breads.

Location is great! Very central and easily accessible/walkable to the main attractions that we wanted to check off our bucket list during our stay. It was easy to access any Ubers and to walk to the public transportation from Cocorico. The room we got was very unique looking, tall ceilings, yellow decorations, and a nice double shower with the rain shower heads. The staff was great! They offered to make reservations for us, provided us a marked up map for places to go upon our arrival, and remembered to always greet us when we came back. Appreciated that there was an elevator considering how old the building was. The building itself and the rooms were very clean. We had the room service for cleaning come everyday to change the sheets and towels, which was great.

We paid for the included breakfast but this ended up not being worth it since we didn't have time for this anyways and the days we wanted to do breakfast for a quick takeaway, the breakfast was croissants, muffins, and apples--not worth it, and the next time we requested it, they forgot to leave it out for us before we checked out early. The room we had was also SO hot, the A/C worked very poorly, very likely because of the large size of the room and positioning of the bed. Because of the room we got, it was very loud in the mornings, as we were facing the street where we were (room 7). We got the "superior room" (Cheapest one) and it did not come as shown on the website with the interior design that I was hoping for, which is why I marked that it did not meet my expectation, so there is some slightly false advertisement with how grandiose the rooms are. Also, the wifi was pretty bad in the room, it's best in the front, farthest from the best, also by the A/C. The placement of everything doesn't make a ton of sense in terms of comfort LOL.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I would absolutely stay here again. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious, the croissants and pastries were so fresh. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating, they provided recommendations and helped with any questions we had. Thank you Cocorico Luxury House!!

The staff was exceptional! Especially Hiago the bartender! Smiles were genuine, remembered are names and what we liked to drink. The property was quiet and pleasant. The breakfast was 5 star! Great location!

The staff was very friendly and the room was beautiful. We had to do an early check out before breakfast started officially and the staff left us a "to-go" bag with some breakfast goodies which was just so nice.

Unique place with French odor .Stuff was very nice. Building is beautiful Rooms are big. Location is ok but not perfect. Require walks to main attractions .

It’s an old building, which is beautiful in one hand but terrible acoustic. When above floor is taking a shower you can’t sleep

The staff and service were exceptionally welcoming and helpful; booking a taxi and even preparing a breakfast bag with personal note for us as we had a very early morning flight. It was the most wonderful treat to get to stay in probably the most beautiful room we’ve ever stayed in, one night was definitely not enough!

Very cosy place in a perfect location, the room was extremely stylish, modern, clean and comfortable, the service and staff were exceptional!

The outside sitting area wasn’t set up (the weather wasn’t always sunny and warm) but we did hope it would be covered so we could spend time on the terrace. Another rather downside was scarce breakfast options.

Usually I stay in 5-star hotels, but this time I decided to choose a boutique hotel. And I was happy that I choose the Cocorico as both the room and the bathroom were really big. The staff was extremely friendly. Unfortunately I had no time to take breakfast but the breakfast room looked extremely inviting. Of course, if you require a spa and a fitness studio then this is not the place to be, but if you require a quiet and very pleasant hotel, well located in the city, then this is a good choice. I for sure will return to the Cocorico in the future as I felt like kind of "at home" there.

The staff was friendly, the service first class, loved the hotel.
