We arrived about 19:00, the staff was courteous, friendly and helpful during check in. She answered all my questions, pleasantly. The room was LARGE, clean, quiet. The king bed was VERY comfortable with good, fresh linens and very nice pillows. There was room to lay out our luggage, which was appreciated. The air conditioner kept the room at a comfortable temperature. The shower was beautiful and I do like a bidet! The free breakfast the next morning, included eggs, ham, fresh fruit, numerous bakery offerings and a few coffee choices. The breakfast staff greated us kindly and were very pleasant and cleared tables quickly when guests left. The tables/ chairs were comfortable and plenty of seating, so you weren't crammed next to other noisy guests. The breakfast was 5 stars. We visited the rooftop area by elevator for a wonderful high view of the city. It had plenty of seating to enjoy a drink or just the views.

The neighborhood is not great but it's really close to the center.

Quiet room, comfy bed, lovely roof terrace and great location. All the sights were within walking distance (and we really enjoyed the walking). Location is great as it’s just outside the noisier down town area.

A bit more clarity on the parking (there are 2 identical parking gates either side of the hotel - a little bit confusing but no big deal, overall the stay was wonderful).

+ The staff was very nice and helpful.+ The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed.+ The prices at the restaurant were very reasonable.

- Our room's window opened directly onto the hotel parking lot, which was on the same level, so it didn't feel very private/intimate.- The location was good, but not great. Walking back to the hotel from downtown Porto we had to pass through some shady areas..- This is minor, but I would have liked little coffee creamers to go with my coffee in the morning, not just sugar.

Cleanliness, location near a grocery store, self service laundry, assorted very good restaurants (5-15 min walks), good English language skills, on-site parking. 30-45 min walk to large market hall, major tourist sights, near a Metro station. Well appointed breakfast, good variety; dinner served on site if pre-requested, smallish menu but good food.

Nothing - it is a lovely 4 star and deserves that rating. Well appointed rooms, good beds, nice shower and linens.

Excellent room, friendly and professional staff. Beautiful facilities. Good location (not in the middle of everything) but in the most charming city.

Everything was great

The room was very clean and well-maintained.

We arrived at the hotel early on a Friday morning. Although early check-in wasn’t possible, the staff kindly allowed us to leave our baggage. When we returned at 3 PM for check-in, we were informed that the air conditioning had stopped working that morning. The hotel waived the cancellation fee, allowing guests to cancel without penalty or stay despite the issue. We decided to stay, assuming last-minute weekend accommodations would be difficult and expensive to find. Unfortunately, the room was unbearably hot, about 86 degrees inside, just as hot as outside.After an hour or two of trying to tolerate the heat, we expressed our disappointment to the staff, but no immediate solutions were offered. no complimentary water, breakfast, drinks, fans, or refunds, etc. It was only later that some solutions were presented. We also wish the hotel had notified us earlier in the day or sent an email so we could have had time to make alternate arrangements.We were celebrating a special anniversary, which we mentioned when booking, but this was not acknowledged at all during our stay.The hotel provides only a small water bottle with no refillable water station in the lobby, which was disappointing given the circumstances.Some staff members were friendlier than others, which is understandable since management was not on-site and staff were left to manage unhappy guests.Overall, while the hotel had good cleanliness and some accommodating staff, the lack of air conditioning and insufficient communication seriously impacted our stay, especially during a special occasion.

I liked the breakfast restaurant downstairs loved the shower the front desk in the morning young lady spoke very good English was very helpful.

Air conditioning did not work and hot water took about 4 minutes to heat up in the shower.
