Location was really good for visiting by walk, and breakfast was good too.
Room size, really samll.
We picked this hotel because of the location and free parking. I booked 2 rooms and for some reason booking.com had one person in each room. I had to pay extra at the hotel. The parking place is very narrow and limited. Be careful where you park.Breakfast was very simple but edible.
Rooms and breakfast
They have a wonderful breakfast of pastries, breads, chelrses and ham. Multiple juices, tea pr coffee. Inside or outside dining.Elevator facility with parking right next did. walking distance to many attractions
Room is very clean but it is small More than met our needs Recommend this hotel.
Generally was good value for money there were some uplift works ongoing but these did not affect us as such. Furnishings were adequate and comfortable, room was clean. Receptionists were exceptionally helpful and a credit to the hotel
Could have been more generous with bathroom soap, shower and shampoo items.Ideally but understand not so normal in Portugal, a kettle etc or rather facilities to make a hot beverage would be an great improvement.
Staffs are so lovely, good location, yummy breakfast
Very nice hotel in good location and kind staff!
Walls were too thin so you heard noises from other rooms very well
Good location
When we checked in, the window in the room was open and the room was very cold. The breakfast room is very small and you have to wait.
One of the main benefits was the free parking and the hotel kindly let us keep the car there for an hour after we’d checked out. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable enough. It was also warm enough. The windows were solid and despite being in the centre (a great location actually), there was no noise from the streets. The breakfast, though simple (croissants, bread, cakes, pastries, ham, cheese, …), was delicious - particularly the croissants. The staff were also helpful and dealt with issues as they arose (e.g. when we complained about very noisy guests on our floor with kids shouting and running up and down the corridor outside our room - after our complaint noise levels came down).
The bathroom made me doubt how clean the place was. There was a lot of mildew in the shower, which I think with the right cleaning products they could clean up (leaving a better impression on guests). But the most off putting for me was a large brown stain on the underside of the sink (sight line when sat on the toilet). I didn’t have the nerve to touch it to see if it was dirt and would wipe off or a stain. I just think a bit more attention could be paid to cleanliness and the appearance of things for guests at least in the bathroom (the bedroom seemed fine). I’ve put a couple of photos to show what I mean about the bathroom. I really hope the hotel fixes this issue because they have a lot of good things going for them so it’s a shame. Also, while the room was well-isolated in terms of sound from outside, noise from other guests seemed to carry a lot. At least it was quiet at night so we were able to sleep ok.
1. Nice location2. Amazing Breakfast (was included with our reservation)3. Neat and clean4. Secure5. 24 hrs front desk
We were 3 friends. They didn’t have issue with bed and having comfort. I am tall and heavy person. Maybe that's why I had back pain fron the bed. Not a big issue but I suffered. For less weight people I think It's all good. However, my rating is still 10/10
The location was great- within easy walking distance to the market, cathedral, many shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free parking was in an attached locked garage. Room was small with 3 twin beds but comfy and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was also really fresh and good.
The bedding could be updated.
Ana was amazing! We arrived in the morning after a long flight to drop off our luggage but Ana swapped rooms around to let us check in as soon as we arrived and provided an excellent service with a very good guide about Porto even though she was very busy with check in/out.The hotel is very well located within a short walk distance to the most of tourist attractions.
Due to our early morning departure at 6am, the night before we asked if we could have a breakfast box or anything to take away once breakfast was included in the booking but unfortunately they don’t provide it.
Private parking garage next door and a short walk to the city centre (all the sights were reachable on foot). We didn’t have to use any public transport. Nice breakfast, esp. the pastry (muffins were delicious)
The breakfast area is very small, one day we ate on the terrace outside (cold in January), had problems with our room’s door, we could hear sbd. snoring in the neighboring room, the halls were noticeably dirty.
Location was perfect. Close to most touristic sites. The free parking with closed garage is very convenient and probably the only hotel in downtown with such service at a payable price.
Breakfast could be better. The room was a little bit tight.
Very nice and helpful staff at the reception. Very good location. Good price.
Blankets without duvet covers, just a sheet and a blanket on top, it's uncomfortable and unhygienic.
Está moi, moi céntrico. A 5 minutos do Coliseu ou do Mercado do Bolhão.
The staff took time to tell us about the area and the history. It was listed with parking and , for a change, there was parking. Indoors and secure. Not on the street somewhere, maybe, nearby.
The bed was too hard for me. But if you like that, it’s fine but not for me.
The staff was very kind, the guy at the reception also spoke spanish other than portuguese. We were even allowed to leave our bags at the hotel after the check-out. The room was clean and the bathroom had a very nice shower. Also, the hotel is extremely close to the city centre.
Breakfast could have been better, but it was really okay.
