Disappointed
I booked 2 rooms, one of them had a very bad smell and on the last night we had to ask to change it. Breakfast is not worth paying for. Super poor and when I asked for the basic veggies (tomatoes and cucumbers), and eggs they told me that is not possible for them to offer any of them. The girl at the breakfast is very arrogant and gets angry super easily when someone asks for anything. Will not choose this hotel again for sure.
the whole hotel feels like was from the 80@s and never touched since, needs updating and new beds
dreary feel old decoration bad bed and pillows
Very clean and tidy, friendly staff
Hotel is old and some things could use renovation (especially flooring in cafeteria) but it was all clean :)
The room was cosy and comfortable
The staffs wasn’t very friendly. No eggs at breakfast.
Convenient location, English speaking receptionists.
The breakfast was below average.
I did like the excelent location and front desk staff
I didn’t like the fact there was no cold drinks in the facilities despite having fotos of bedroom with a fridge with drinks.
Nice, clean and value for money to explore Porto 20 min walking distance from center. 5 min from the metro that are stopping all the metro lines. From our window we had a view of the Koolhaas building (casa do musica)
After 21:00 everything in the area is closed and there is nothing to do during the night
Room was clean and big enough for a couple to stay
Breakfast can be improved - quite limited options were there
Convenient location to stores, stores and restaurants.
The walls between the room appeared to carry noise too well, especially the water running noise.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower also had great water pressure.
Some upgrades would be really nice. For one, the blowdryer in the bathroom appears to be from 1972, it was so strange and feeble, barely blew lukewarm air. The carpet in the hallway was all covered with bleach stains, but no carpet in the rooms, so bring slippers! There was no extra blanket and the split on the wall was pretty old and really didn't keep the room warm. Also the staff, while not rude or anything, were barely alive - didn't look up when you spoke with them, didn't say hello or good morning/afternoon (very un-Portuguese!) and not very friendly.
The friendliness of the employee who was serving breakfast.
The hotel is in desperate need of repairs. Not only to be modernized but also to correct things, which in my opinion are unacceptable (leaks, humidity, mold smell...)Breakfast very plaint, without variety.

The room was very nice and clean. The bed was very confortable. Very nice location, close to the subway and close to boavista roudabout.
The tv on the room didn´t work.
Book this place if you want to keep it cheap, but don't expect much.
The building has seen better days. Not every room has a fridge. Wardrobe is very basic, there were no shelves, and occasionally smelled of urine - probably the sewage pipe is leaking somewhere in the wall. There are no mosquito nets installed, caught 7 in just one night. Make sure your first trip is to the nearest supermarket to buy some repellent, you won't sleep through the night without it. Staff is friendly, even if they don't understand you, receptionists were a little distant though.

The hotel was great value for money. The staff was friendly and supportive, the room was clean. I liked the breakfast and apples that were offered at the reception desk.
Nothing to add.
