- The staff was amazing. Even with the language barrier, (on my part) they were attentive and full of information.
- Location was fabulous. Central to everything. Room was great. Very clean.
- Great location and a good breakfast
Cons -
- The hotel's location made it difficult for common ground transportation to arrive directly at the front door. The staff was diligent in addressing this issue, but the core problem lies outside of their control.
- We had one incident where we came back to our room in the early evening from a day trip and our room door was wide open. We are thinking the cleaning staff forgot to shut it. We left the do not disturb sign on the door for the remainder of the stay.
- Could clearly hear neighbouring tooms

Great location and a good breakfast
Could clearly hear neighbouring tooms
Very professional, friendly, helpful staff. Nice to have a bar on site. Great central location.
Location is fantastic, staff was extremely helpful, room cleanliness was the best we had in Portugal
Location
2 twin beds pushed together.
Location And staff were above and beyond.
The location is the best attractive.
The only thing is that we were expecting one double bed and there was two separate single beds for me and my wife.
Centrally located
Breakfast was expensive at 10 euros.
The check in process was super easy, breakfast was good, and the location was phenomenal
My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The room I was given had visible mold all over the window shade. Mold is not only unsightly but also a serious health concern. Shortly after spending time in the room, I began feeling unwell, which I strongly believe was related to the poor air quality and exposure to the mold.I reported the issue to the staff, but they did not switch my room or make any effort to resolve the situation. For a hotel, cleanliness and guest safety should be the highest priority, yet that was clearly not the case here.Until management addresses these problems and takes guest health seriously, I cannot recommend this property.
Breakfast was decent
Outlets in the room as well as the safe continued to malfunction, which was a huge inconvenience to us and our day
The location was excellent, but the only highlight.
The rooms were very uncomfortable, especially the beds. I requested a queen and we got two twins pushed together. Our booking also said breakfast included but we were told it was an extra cost upon arrival. The staff was also rude, the kitchen staff wouldn’t let us use the restroom while we waited for our check-in.
The hotel is located in the center of Porto, in walkable distance to main attractions, restaurants, and transportations. we did not pay breakfast since there are many nice breakfast places in a walkable distance with a great local food, pastries, and fresh coffee. WiFi was good and stable. Street is quite during the night and seems to be safe.
The room was super tiny - only one chair to seat and no space to fully open large-size bags. Ventilation in the bathroom was bad - feels very humid. Bathroom was also on the small side.
We loved being in the center of Ribeira but on a quieter street. We loved the pedestrian street that was just a block away - good cafes and shops nearby made it easy for our family. My husband and I were able to explore different areas and it felt safe for our teens to go out on their own. It was nice to have a separate area for the bunk beds
The beds were hard and the bedding didn't breathe. To be able to sleep, we had to crank up the AC during the winter!
Breakfast was excellent (better than other hotels in Portugal)!! It was the best part of the hotel. Our room also looked out over the water, which was very nice. The room was really spacious and felt like two rooms because the bunk beds were a separate section with bathroom in the middle. Employees were all very nice and gave great recommendations for dinner.
Facility is older and a bit musty. Bathroom had poor ventilation and did not dry out easily after shower. We were awakened just before 5am by an individual who just kept knocking on the door and talking in a weird voice. Unknown if this was another hotel guest or someone else, but it made us feel very uncomfortable. Ultimately my husband had to yell through the door before the person finally left. This experience was scary and did affect my rating (although it would not stop me from booking this hotel in the future).
Location
Needed to rest from a 29- hour flight journey : door to door 36 hours , the chambermaids were busy cleaning rooms . They were talking so loud . I ended up putting Do Not Susrueb throughout my stay of 2 nights
Check in was seamless, staff professional and told us what we needed to know. Room was spacious and heater and hot water were great, The location was the best. andI loved the old building.
Bed was too firm-but that's Portugal on average. My shoulder hurt from sleeping on one side, for a few hours, as usual. The Pillow was way too hard. My ear hurt from sleeping on it. Honestly, no different from other hotels here in PT. I had to buy a thick mattress topper just to survive living here in PT. Maybe consider getting some.. A lotof pillows-yeah! and extea blankets. Glass -glasses are a sign of quality. My son got stuck un the elevator for awhile- you may need to look at replacing them.Breakfast should have been included, IMO
Located next to Waterfront Easy walking to main Porto sightsProperty well managed Fun exploring several port housesIncredible Restaurants nearby

Excellent location, and phenomenal view from our room. Very clean and comfortable, and staff was helpful.
