Steps from the river. Views are spectacular. Rooms are quiet and clean with great shower facilities. Staff are wonderful and very helpful. Burgers at the hotel restaurant are fantastic. Cafe just steps away is excellent. SO inexpensive.

Helpful staff - everyone was terrific from bellman to housekeeping to front desk to restaurant/bar. Lovely roof terrace overlooking the Douro, great place to grab a drink. Bathroom spacious with nice bath products, bed comfortable, ample closest space.

Rooms on 1st floor are a bit dark, coffee pods for the in room Nespresso machine only provided on day of check in. I stayed for over a week and had to find a grocery store to buy more.

The bathroom door swung too far into the bathroom, so closing it was a bit awkward, but the rest of the room was wonderful. Loved the shower

An excellent hotel with a convenient private garage. An exceptional breakfast with a wide selection. Spacious, cozy rooms. Comfy beds. Coffee and tea makers, as well as a complimentary bottle of water, coffee, and tea. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in a quiet place, a little away from the city center.

To make lemon water for breakfast, they use tap water. It would be fine if tap water didn't smell like chemicals.

Perfect location, fabulous breakfast, friendly staff, and clean rooms. If you’re lucky, you can find a free parking space near the hotel. The city center is about a 10–15 minute walk away.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom size and comfort was excellent! Once we found the underground parking location with the help of staff it was great! Safe!

Finding the hotel with Apple Maps was a little challenging!

The breakfast is poor; the scrambled eggs are cold and fake (from packages).The room looks much better in pictures than in reality.There was construction and a lot of noise in the morning, but we were not aware.I think this hotel should be classified as 3-star and the price should be much lower.

The property was clean, staff very efficient and friendly, bed comfortable, location fantastic, room size for a triple was a little small but doable.

It is easy to step out to the river front and to access the bus, tram, and all other activities, nice breakfast

We enjoyed the big comfortable bed and the bathroom was a decent size. Little window can be opened for some fresh air. The foyer is big and beautiful. I enjoyed getting my coffee in the morning from the Nespresso machine in buffet.

The bathroom itself was nice and spacious and but the shower was disgusting. Although the rest of the room was nice and clean we were really off-put with the shower- there was mold and black spots in the shower. I told front desk and asked if the cleaners could spend a bit more time cleaning the showers…and if the cleaners did clean the shower you couldn’t tell, but I guess it has to do with the age of the hotel room and no ventilation / fan in the bathrooms.

Breakfast had amazing variety and wonderful coffee. Staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean.

A bit far from city center

The building was used in the past as the fish market, and the hotel managed to transfer it to a nice hotel. The staff were very nice, ready to help and smiling always to guests. Breakfast is very good, like 5 stars, all that you need in a buffete . Rooms are good modern. In front of the hotel you can take bis 500 to old city 10 minutes and also take same bus to the other side to walk or swim in the Ocean. We stayed at this hotel in Lisbon and decided to go the same hotel in Porto.
