The breakfast is fantastic. The staff pampered us beyond expectations. Very polite and professional. Wonderful recommendations for our stay as far as restaurants and things to see.

We stayed for three days. I came with my wife and child.I can say that the accommodations, guest relations, room cleaning, parking, and breakfast services were top-notch.Guest relations is always helpful. Those in the breakfast section made sure we had a great time at breakfast.The location is close to the center and everything else. The indoor pool and gym facilities are also excellent.Perfect in every way.Obrigado!

There were no olives at breakfast :) I think they would have brought them if we had asked.

Stunning property with very comfortable rooms. Best sleep of the entire trip! Associates were super helpful and accommodating and very friendly. Amenities are top notch including the infinity pool on the roof with river views. The Altis Porto was an oasis in the midst of a very busy, bustling city.

A pro and con is the location. Wonderful to be out of the throngs of people, but it is a good 15 minute walk to the river and many of the historic spots. No complaints - it was always a wonderful respite to return to the hotel and relax and unwind.

5-star hotel, with all the amenities and comforts that entails including an excellent in-house restaurant. Special call-out to Pedro and the concierge service for their help in booking restaurants and day trips to the Duro valley.

This is an absolutely lovely hotel. Incredibly cozy and warm, yet modern and stylish.Breakfast was fantastic and I highly recommend the eggs Benedict.Would highly recommend booking a treatment at the spa (facials and massage were amazing) and having a cocktail at the downstairs bar.Pictures actually do not do it justice. We were expecting a much smaller room and rooftop pool. The standard rooms are actually quite spacious and the rooftop area is amazing.Beds are super comfy and would highly recommend staying here.

A bit off the beaten path. Food service a bit limited.

Great location. A little bit of a walk from the City Centre (10min or so), but always a pleasant walk... fun to go different way each time. The rooms were roomy and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The spa was lovely - hottub, sauna, steam room and pool. The rooftop pool was also lovely, but busy at times... the rooftop pool was more of a plunge pool as it wasn't very deep (1.3 meters).

After a 5 night stay in 3 rooms with 7adults.. the hotel wanted to charge 15Euros to one of the rooms for a bar fridge item that wasn't consumed... it seemed super petty and kind of left a bad final impression. It wasn't charged in the end, but just seemed silly.

The location was quiet, and its proximity to the park was perfect for breathtaking strolls. The view from our suite was amazing. The breakfast & service from staff was the best we had in Portugal. We visit the country every year.

I wish there were more well-rated, traditional restaurants close to the hotel. I longed for a little map that could tell us where to walk to eat well. We got lost in the park looking for an exit to the river walk below.

The location was great and we booked a room overlooking the river which was just gorgeous. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was really excellent. Homemade hazelnut spread on crepes and omelettes with fresh vegetables were the highlight. I definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a comfortable stay in Porto ??

The spa facilities could use an upgrade and the outdoor pool was too small and crowded.

Absolutely the best hotel we have stayed at. Incredible staff - very professional, very friendly. Patricia checked us in but looked after us our entire stay. She found me once outside the hotel - above and beyond excellent caring. It is difficult to leave the hotel to enjoy outside! The rooftop pool and view are great, but we really enjoyed the spa and the great couples treatment. Thank you Cátia and Melissa. Our dinner at the restaurant had unique cocktails and really embraces português food. I forgot the waiter’s name - Português who grew up in Rhode Island? He was truly a wonder sharing his knowledge with us. Inês made every morning wonderful with a superior breakfast, her kindness remembering our likes, her warmth speaking to guests in 4 languages!

Everything! The hotel is wonderful and so is the staff - the breakfast is amazing, too! I highly recommend staying there.

The pool in the spa area was really cold, and overall the spa area was really chilly. It was hard to wind down and get comfortable with it being so cold.

This is a new hotel in Porto; the Altis chain is top of the line in Lisbon. The hotel is extremely pleasant, very well appointed and the staff is great. It is also well located to see Porto, and has an indoor and small outdoor pool, as well as a good gym.

Bar prices are very high, no business center.

Clean, new, modern, helpful staff.

Location was a bit of a distance from the center but we were able to walk there and back. Quiet neighborhood. Due to some construction? GPS didn’t get us there easily so we wound up driving in circles for about a half hour.
