Ribeira Douro Hotel

This hotel was in a great location, in the middle of the Ribiera district, the staff were super friendly, and the room itself and the breakfast was perfect. Also free coffee and snacks available throughout the day, what a treat.

Can't think of much really, there wasn't much of a view from the room window, but that didn't' bother us.

This is a great boutique hotel - from the minute we walked in we felt welcome and comfortable. Although the hotel is small the room we stayed in was large, clean and well appointed. There is a lift to get to your room which is good given the historic building. The breakfast was amazing. The food was fresh and varied. We got up early just so that we could spend longer enjoying the breakfast.Finally the location in the historic area is fantastic for wandering around the streets. We got an uber from the airport and it was fine. Only taxis can drive into the street where the hotel is but our uber dropped us off about 100meters away which was fine.

I cant really find anything to not like. Maybe a bit more storage in the bathroom but seriously thats all I can think of!

Stylish and contemporary, it is located in a quiet restricted access road, a short walk from the river front.Very clean, it provided everything we needed including a varied breakfast offer. Staff were always polite and helpful.

The only reason for rating this hotel at 5 stars, is that I cannot give 8 stars. It is impeccable on every level. Staff is super helpful. Great food. Fantastic location. Good value for money. Everything that’s great about Portugal, you’ll find here

Great location and staff are really accomdating. We had an early flight and they packed a small breakfast for us.

Staff were really helpful with recommendations . Breakfast had great choice of freshly prepared food. Location was prefect for old town and river/ bridge perfect access.

It is a little confusing about the location because the driver dropped us off on the main road. We didn’t know the hotel was right down the street off the main road!

Breakfast was excellent. There was more variety than I could eat in one sitting. Everyday, there was a different egg dish and other hot items. It was difficult not to overeat.Coffee, tea and other hot drinks were available 24/7 as well as a few treats.We were greeted with a small port wine beverage upon arrival.

Great breakfast, terrific staff, beautiful interior design. Air conditioning was excellent, especially important since there was a heat wave. Many excellent restaurants nearby. Good location for sightseeing, whatever points of interests are explored, it's an easy downhill walk back to the hotel.

Before we arrived we got an e mail advising us that we could check in early if our room was ready and if not we could avail of luggage storage until the room was ready. They also offered to arrange transport to the hotel from the airport. Upon arrival we were met by Gabriela who offered a welcome port and was exceptionally helpful in recommending tours and restaurants.The hotel is ideally located for a short visit to porto. The cleanliness is exceptional and the breakfast is very good. The staff are very friendly and the bed was most comfortable.I highly recommend this hotel.

Location could not have been any better … Right in the core of the vibrant Ribeira District!Staff were so so nice, always with a smile and ready to assist. Our room was spotlessly clean, just like the rest of the hotel, of course. It is tastefully and smartly decorated which gives it a very trendy feeling.Last but not least… breakfast was very innovative, with different things every day. We haven’t had a great stay like this for quite a while… 100% recommendable !

This hotel has very friendly and helpful staff. The room was small but European standards. Very clean. Breakfast included a wide variety of foods, including fresh fruits and pastries. We would definitely stay again.

Everything, I booked this hotel for my parents (for their wedding anniversary) and the staff was very nice and kind. They helped me out very good and provided excellent service to my parents.
