Axis Porto Club Aliados

Lovely hotel in a central location. We were given a free upgrade to a suite overlooking the monument which was spacious, this could have been because we had a 3 night stay. We had bathrobes and slippers and a separate lounge area. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and served in the lovely restaurant which also opens for evening meals. It is a 10 minute walk to Sao Bento station or just 5 minutes to the metro. Behind the hotel there are 2 parallel roads full of restaurants and a small supermarket. It was a perfect stay.

The staff at the reception did everything to make my stay enjoyable. They were very flexible with checkin and checkout times. The hotel is centrally located and close to public transportation.

The hotel is excellently located making it easy to visit the major attractions. It is very close to Trinidade metro so it is really easy to get to the airport. The staff were friendly. We had a lovely large room overlooking the square. The bed was comfy and it had an excellent shower

Great location, our suite was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Breakfasts weren’t great. Food and drinks not restocked often enough therefore choices sometimes limited, never enough cutlery or glasses. Gluten free bread was awful- disintegrated when spread with anything so didn’t have it again. Struggled to get seated on our last morning as none of the tables had been cleared/cleaned, it was a bit of a mess to be honest.

Great location in the heart of the historic district. Beautifully designed space.

Rooms are tight. Very much NYC style. (you have less than a foot to walk around the bed without getting tangled in the long drapes that hang on the floor. But it was just for two nights so it was doable. DIdn't even unpack.

Location is fine if you enjoy being in the busy city centre. It was quiet.

Rooms were hot. Bathroom was significantly mouldy, as soon as you open the door it was an overwhelming pungent smell. Staff did more us but the second room was also mouldy just not as bad. Beds were tiny, furniture and fittings felt like they were from temu

Great location. Very pleasant and clean, staff most helpful and polite. Could not fault the Axis Porto Club. If going back to Porto would not stay anywhere else

Everything was perfect! Easy to get to from the airport via metro, few mins walk from Trindade terminal. Hotel in perfect location. The decor, staff and attention to detail was amazing. Our room was spectacular ~ 5th floor. Definitely recommend and would return.

Hardly worth mentioning but I do want to state a small issue was that the television kept casting to a different room. The staff were very kind and would fix the issue but when I tried to cast again it would go back to thinking it was a different room. I finally just gave up trying and watched on my iPad.
