Pros +
- The hotel design and aesthetic was mid-century modern and very cool. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We had a big room, housekeeping came daily, and the food at the bar & breakfast buffet were great.
- Beautifully designed hotel, nice and cozy, not too far from the city center. Clean and comfortable rooms. Kind and helpful staff. We stayed for almost an entire week and only had positive experiences. The property also includes a beautiful cafe with great coffee and a nice environment to sit and relax and a swimming pool (unfortunately it was quite chilly when we visited). It’s an amazing option if you work remotely or want a place to study while on your vacation as many cafes in the city are “laptop free”. But also great if you just want a nice place to stay.
- I loved the esthetic and the design of the place and also the amenities were great
Cons -
- Our only real disappointment with the hotel was that it was far away from downtown Porto. As 1st-time visitors we would have preferred to stay closer to downtown; however, this isn't really the fault the hotel, but something to note for other 1st timers.
- The check in was not so obvious but not bad either.
- Finding the laundry facilities in the property was a challenge!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Gentleman in the restaurant made me coffee every morning! The rooms are minimalist but have absolutely everything you need. Laundry facilities are great after many days of travelling. The outside spaces are plentiful and really nice. The hotel is very peaceful and extremely clean. Great location to use public transit.

The hotel was in a nice location (slightly out of the centre but we prefer that), the staff were friendly, the decor was lovely and the pool was nice. Rooms are very clean. The staff let us check in early which was great for us after a long day - something we really appreciated.Yoga room was also clean and nice to work out in. The breakfast had a great variety and at €15 wasn't unreasonable considering you could return for more if you were still hungry. Bar staff really helpful and friendly also.
It was a shame the bar closed at 5.30 each day. This hotel very much is for people who are working, there isn't a "holiday" vibe, if that's something you're looking for (in fairness their website says it's for working people)Note - we asked for a first aid kid for a band aid as there wasn't one in reception, at the bar or in the room. We wouldn't normally mind but this was something we noted at the time.
Very cozy accommodation with a convenient pool area to sunbathe. Staff were very friendly and helpful
The water in the pool could have been cleaner
- Excellent breakfast - Very modern interior- Friendly staff
- A bit far away from the centre
We chose this hotel as it was close to the Porto - Campanha train station. When we realized that we really needed/wanted to stay longer in Porto, extra nights wer available. The staff was wonderful and did everthing to make the stay like home - comfortable breakfast times, help with bookings, good suggestions about travel/events, always making one feel you comfortable about making requests. Other guests were also friendly and helpful. The Portuguese tarts were a bonus for breakfast. The building is a unique, modern structure - somewhere between minimalist and brutalist in style with cemetn and gorgeous wood accents, all in the midst of very old buildings in Porto. Would stay there again!
The room was a good size as was the bathroom. We didn't look for anything else as everything was provided (fridge, safe, tv, desk, etc.). Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Event space was excellent - sound was amazing.Just 10 mins walk to the excellent metro service of Porto. It's residential around the area and there were quite a few groups hanging around on corners so be vigilant/alert.
The balcony was of little value - there was only a single chair and the space was small and not that inviting. The balcony overlooked the entrance courtyard where people came/went with some occasional noise. Worse was people smoking in the area that meant the balcony door had to be closed.
Breakfast was a good choice, buffet style and scrambled eggs made to order. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to Porto’s largest railway station. The staff recommended and excellent local restaurant for an evening meal. I understand that The hotel is used a lot by young professionals who can work anywhere in the world principally using computers.
The room and en suite were very dark, the lighting was poor, there were few things in the way of fixtures and nowhere to put things in the bathroom and few pegs. The finish on all of the walls was plain, smoothed concrete and I likened it to a prison.
Breakfast was very good - granola with additions, fresh fruit juice, good coffee.
Workplaces were very basic - chairs were just restaurant chairs. Compared to a good coffeeshop, the work area was pretty empty, without much character. The location in the city was disappointing, far away from the most interesting areas. Not the promised hip location.
The art and furniture are nice and well chosen. Parking is onsite. Thought has gone into the concept.
While it looks great on the photos it s not comport able to stay in. Feels like a sauna and a parking garage mix. Floors are super cold concrete. The worst was the lighting concept of the room. All lights give horrible cold or bright light and make the room super uncomfortable once the sun sets. This should be addressed as changing some lamps and bulbs would be a huge upgrade. Also playing J Lo "Let s get loud at breakfast" is terrible on so many levels. Barista coffee was not good. Vegan options quite limited.
The building and the style
A bit too focused on appearance than on actual service.Very superficial cleaning, quite dirty rooms
The building is beautiful, the architecture is stunning. The room is comfortable and the shared spaces were very nice. We got lucky with a yoga class.
The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, so it gets steamy and so does the room. There were no hangers in the bathroom to put towels or shelving for you to put your things. It’s also a little out of town, but a 30 min walk or a uber.
Great hotel, room was really stylish, nice wifi. Location is good too.
Everything was good.
Location and value for money
No where to hang towels or put toiletries in the bathroom.
Simple but very nice rooms. Loved the yoga room and places to sit in the sun. Small but enjoyable breakfast situation. Friendly staff. Be aware that it's not in the centre of town, but it's possible to walk, take the metro or an uber.
The location was a good compromise with being near the train station and the major site in the city. The breakfast and bar were adequate. The room was large and well-appointed for a short or long-term stay. The hotel is designed for month-long stays but also worked well for us.
The bed was on a platform that made it difficult to get into or out of the bed.,
Almost everything. Love the vibes and the interior design.
I didn't like the car park. It has a very narrow way and it is difficult to one person alone to park.
Very cool hotel with contemporary design. I liked it a lot. Ver convenient when leaving or arriving by train.
Beds on ground floor rooms are too low (003). Bed linen 50% Polyester is a no go!Vanity unit is too high.
