I love the deign of the hotel and the tall Brasilian gentleman at the front was kind and very supportive as was the rest of the staff, but he was the best.

The hallway smelled funny on the way to the room. I'm not sure if it just needed air or was because of cleaning products.

Location was great. Staff are one of the best and most welcoming i have ever come across. Humorous interiors the whole concept was funny.

Rooms are a bit tight. Not the best view, breakfast was not wow!

Entry has steps making it impossible to wheel heavy bags. Not as close to the tourist area as I had hoped. Room had awkward design with toilet room door swinging into sink area, and room lacked special details. No blowdryer, no bathrobe, coffeemaker but no cream, that day they had no hot water but probably this was not a regular problem. Lights from electronics (tv and thermostat) annoying during sleep.

I really enjoyed the design and decoration of both the hotel and the room. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel’s restaurant serves delicious food, and the staff are friendly and kind. It was also easy to walk to the city center from the hotel.

Everything was perfect! The hotel is not in a crowded, very central area, but it was easy to get around and the quiet location was also a big plus.

The room was lovely, clean, and had a nice vibe. I like the amount of space the room provided and I also like that It was quiet. This hotel had a great breakfast and the pizza at the restaurant was super good! The staff was nice, and overall is a lovely experience. The hotels location is great because it's not in the mist of all the traction, but not far off.

The shower is something that I absolutely loved. Roomy with good pressure and plenty of hot water. The room was just as we like it and the TV was a good size too. Staff are friendly. And to top it all, a very good breakfast. I defenitely recommend this hotel. And if that is not enough, there is a pizzeria inside of the hotel and trust me it was the best pizza I have ever eaten in my entire life (and I ate more pizzas than anyone should in a lifetime :)). The crust is amazing and the ingredients super fresh. How convenient was it for us to find this buzzing place open ready for us after a long flight. We ate and headed straight to our comfy bed. Perfect. To make it more amazing we found a little cake and a bottle of wine as a welcome gift for our anniversary waiting in our room. Thank you dear Fontinha staff, you certainly made our stay a memorable one.

The pillows are not what we are used to but there were cushions too, so we were able to find comfort anyway. We certainly did not like that Portugal is full of steep hills but that is not the hotel's fault.

I like the Hotel, minimalist modern and not noisy. The staff so friendly and location of this hotel closed from traditional market also city centre.

The hotel was about a 10-15 min walk from the metro and a 20 min walk to the historic center. Staff were very helpful with directions and other queries that we had. The restaurant downstairs had great pizza. the room comfortable and spacious enough. there were enough power points which was good, as well as a small fridge and a safe. There were elevators which was useful and the front desk was staffed all the time.

The area was quite deserted in the early morning, I'm not sure if I would walk around on my ownThere was no door to the bathroom area where one would undress to shower, some people may not like that.

I was really disappointed with my stay. My first room had a strong smell of drains, so I asked to be moved. Unfortunately, the second room had the same problem. I was moved again, but the way it was handled made me feel as though I was being a nuisance rather than a guest with a legitimate concern.The next morning, I discovered there was no milk provided for the coffee machine. When I called reception to ask about it, I was abruptly told there was none and that I’d have to either go down to breakfast or pay for room service. I only wanted the small milk pots that most hotels offer as standard, so this was both surprising and disappointing.As a solo traveller, the unfriendly attitude of the staff made me feel quite uncomfortable. This experience really let down what I had hoped would be an enjoyable stay.

They upgrade us to suit and we enjoyed it very much. The room is spacious and comfortable.

The location is a bit far away from the center.

The staff was helpful and very accommodating! The room was very comfortable, quiet and serene! The breakfast with fresh juice, fresh yogurt, eggs, pastries, fresh beds with tomato and cucumber was fantastic! This is a little gem in the city which does require a little walking to get to most points of interest- but I enjoyed that as well!

The soundproofing was terrible, and the shower kept coming loose and dripping, constantly waking me up.

The hotel was beautiful! The staff even surprised us with cake and champagne for our honeymoon!!
