Chic & Basic Gravity

Great location, great staff and wonderful breakfast

¿

Amazing hotel. Great room with a huge bed, fantastic shower. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. We loved the free tea/coffee & cake every afternoon. Great bar. The staff were lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely staff. Clean room, comfy beds, great breakfast.

Good location, friendly staff, comfortable bed

The laundry service is too expensive

Everything

It seems in Portugal having a tea/coffee tray in the room is not the norm, which I miss. There was an espresso machine and a couple of pods but my tea drinking husband had to wait until we left the hotel for a hot drink. (We’d booked room only)

The room is big, the beds are so comfy, the staffs are soooooo welcoming and lovely, the looby so cosy and our experience was so positive, wont hesitate to repeat it.

The toilet and shower wall from glass so my friend has to stay in the looby while i take shower haha

Looked very clean and modern from the outside. Warm greeting the moment I walked in and that feeling of hospitality never went away. Wonderful staff. Accommodating, informative, kind beyond normal hotel standards!!! The breakfast was outstanding, as has been mentioned in other reviews. There is a happy hour, which is nice because the bar is actually part of the front desk. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. There’s a wonderful Italian restaurant right on the property which is excellent. Several other restaurants within 10 minute walk. Special thanks to Ana for her kindness…it was truly appreciated.

I liked everything.

The Hotel is in a n excellent location to explore the city. The whole place is beautifully decorated and interesting The breakfast was exceptional value for money the choice was unbelievable , freshly prepared and availability was excellent Staff couldn't do enough for us so helpful and friendly Would highly recommend this hotel

I wouldn't of changed anything

Hotel was very funky and full of character, something different. Really enjoyed staying there, clean, comfortable and staff were great. Shower was superb!

Nothing really, the bar could have been open later on Friday and Saturday night perhaps, but there’s a bar next door so not all bad.

Excellent hotel, great location, relaxed, quirky and value for money. Loved afternoon tea and pastries when purchased breakfast.

Relaxed and outdoor area, tv room and lounge areas.

Really good location within walking distance of many of the places of interest. Lots of good bars and restaurants nearby. Helpful staff and nice breakfast.

Modern Hotel, 'Chic' definitely lives up to it's name, friendly staff and spotlessly clean.

Very cool and quirky (shoes on ceiling!). Room spotless clean. Staff very polite and helpful. Bar prices very reasonable and good happy hour. Excellent breakfast. Very good location.

Prefer a toilet/shower in a separate room rather than glass partition.

- Room was spacious so had plenty of room for 2 people, had basic facilities in the room and anything else you needed you could ask for like shaving kit, kettle, conditioner etc. - Aesthetic throughout the hotel was nice, from the lobby, lifts, hallway to the room it all matched the website images so was very pleased as I booked the hotel mainly for the aesthetics. - Location was great, super easy to get everywhere we had planned and easy to find as well. - Staff were very friendly and accommodating, very helpful with any questions we had and when we asked for a few extra things such as towels they were very quick.

- Didn't realise when booking but our room was an open plan room/bathroom so there was a closed off section for the toilet that had a frosted glass door but could very clearly see when someone was in there, same with the shower. May have had images online that I missed but when looking through them I didn't see anything like that so it was a shock when we walked in. Ended up making it work but essentially no privacy when going to the toilet/shower because of it so I wouldn't choose that room again, very awkward if it's a group of you. Enjoyed the stay overall but wasn't enthusiastic about the bathroom.

Great location clean and comfortable room

Just not a personal liking preference to have separate toilets and shower area

Excellent staff, comfy bed, great choice at breakfast. Brilliant location.

Modern, great location, friendly staff

location, vibe, staff, onsite bar, spacious room

Breakfast was perfect, lots of choice

the glass walls for the bathroom and toilet. Would have preferred a bit more privacy but no big deal, would definitely stay again

Excellent hotel and staff great breakfast good location
