Cons -
- The hotel is at the top of one of Porto's infamous hills. Getting there, hauling luggage was a real workout.
- Well the hotel is old but still has so much character, great views and good location and for the price I don't think there is anything I can really say
- Very dated. Carpet was threadbare. Furniture was from the 70s but functional.

The only think I like was that the staff was very nice an the restaurant has a nice view
Where to start…1. Elevator barely worked (sometimes only did go up and not down) 2. Restaurant’s carpet was dirty (it was clear that it had not been vacuumed or swept)3. Rooms super old, they only have side-beds lamps but not a proper light.
The view in the room and breakfast room are amazing, with panoramic windows.Basic but good breakfast and nice staff.
Authentic hotel. Nice staff. Great price and amazing view of Porto city from the 11th floor windows.☀️
View over Porto exceptional, on 11th floor, and given room overlooking down town and river. Breakfast on 13th floorview even better with window full length of room. Quality of food very good for the price, staff serving breakfast and cleaners always pleasant. Room excellent bed comfortable, room spacious, good TV, bathroom easy to use good drying facility if wash few clothes.
Reception staff just did the minimum, pleasant enough but felt they could have made more effort to for instance recommend places to visit, and engage with us
A nice spot with lovely panorama and retro decor. It was like travelling in a time.
Even if it is retro, the things are not in their best condition. They should repair some stuff and give a better breakfast, which was really really poor.
Amazing views of Porto from our 11th floor and good BF on the 13th floor Incredible Miradour Stay
A little bit old style but still in good condition It needs to be upgraded to a more modern touch
My favorite hotel in Porto, located in one of the city's tallest buildings. The price per night is affordable. A beautiful, large room with a private bathroom, stunning views of the city, and delicious breakfast served on the top floor. You can enjoy your morning coffee while listening to smooth jazz music and admiring the incredible city panorama. Great!! Highly recommend it!!
The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The view was amazing, I could see all the city. Location was good too
It was reasonably priced and we had a beautiful view from our room.
It was a long way away from everything.
The fantastic sightseeing of entire Porto from the restaurant Porticale on the 13th floor.
Nothing to report
I liked everything. It was super clean, tidy and unique. With vast room, comfy bads , good shower. Amazinf views from the 13th floor, where there was restaurant.

Location and free car parking.
Room was old, bathroom was poorly designed, toilet was lose, shower head has almost no pressure and was hard to control the water temperature, no air conditioninig, breakfast was rather plain, coffee was not good at all.
It had a front desk receptionist which was a plus and it also had a good Continental breakfast. The mattress was very comfortable.
The room was gingy with crummy old furniture. The bathroom was so tiny you practically hit yourself on the sink trying to sit on the toilet. The hair dryer was from the stone ages although it did function. However, the longer it was held the hotter it got.I don't know where they got the photos for this hotel but they must have photoshopped them because that's what caused me to book the reservation. The room looked really spectacular but it turned out to be microscopic. We traveled with two other couples, and one of them had a lovely big bathroom that I was very envious of. We all paid the same price but there was quite a difference in the quality of the bedroom and bathroom.
we did love panoramic view and location.
windows did not open and whole our stay we been without fresh air. "Airco" barely worked.
Quiet room though I arrived on the evening of a national holiday so the firework celebration woke me up. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special.
Lift system.
Enjoyable breakfast, help yourself to as much as you want, excellent value for money
Walk in shower, but not much to complain about at the price good located
Staff very friendly and helpful. You can see this hotel must have been top notch in its hay day, decades ago. Naturally it's a little run down, as to be expected, but it's lovingly maintained. The restaurant on the 13th floor was a total surprise! Very old world elegant charm. The location is decent. Call an Uber to get to the Riviera and other areas if interest.
