The overall design of the hotel and the common areas and the staff was super helpful and attentive.

They upgraded our room, the breakfast was outstanding, the whole place was full of really cool furniture, the interior architecture was impressive

The hotel was fun and quirky. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfasts were very good, lots of home made items ( jams, yoghourt, cakes, freshly squeezed juice ) and eggs were prepared to order.

Our room had a window opening on to an internal courtyard, so was quite dark, needing a light on all the time. A room with an external window would have been much better. We could see into the room opposite, so felt that we had to have our curtains closed more than we would have liked.

The bath towels were divine.Hotel grounds are so beautiful, every angle is IG perfect.Breakfast buffet is simply delicious and just what we needed every morning before setting out on our exploration.Staff are all so friendly and helpful.A delightfully cosy and inspiring space that completes our trip.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel.The staff were exceptionally nice and very professional, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a lot of natural light.The outdoor area is beautiful, with a stunning heated pool. The architecture, the furniture and the interior design are truly impressive; it feels like walking through a design museum.Breakfast was good.Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back.

Very stylishly presented, good food and drink and well located. Loved the pool after a hot day of sightseeing.

- It is noisy from the car in the street that we hear very loud. It wasn’t that much of a problem for us, but good to know.- The location is good, but still a little bit far, we love to walk, so it wasn’t a blocker for us.

I booked Tipografia for my partner’s 30th birthday and asked the team to personalise our check-in with balloons, cake, and wine — they went above and beyond.The whole property is stunning. If you’re into large resort hotels this might not be the place for you, but if you appreciate thoughtful interior design, cool vibes, and attention to detail, you’ll be amazed.Breakfast was lovely — buffet style but curated, not excessive. Everything felt fresh and intentional, with lots of homemade touches like almond and peanut butter. Eggs were prepared on the spot, which made it feel both delicious and healthy without being wasteful.The bar was equally stylish, and we loved every part of our stay. What really stood out to me were the restaurant recommendations. Instead of the usual touristy spots that many hotels push, these suggestions felt authentic and thoughtful — covering a range of tastes and making us feel like locals.Truly special from start to finish.

new hotel, lots of design details, nice garden and patio. breakfast was good

although bookings said there was parking it appeared only one space for the whole hotel. i must say that the staff was very helpful organizing a place in a nearby garage. there was clearly a lot of attention for design in the hotel, but the fundamentals like ventilation, soundproofing, intuitive light switches, parking where not done properly.

We loved everything about this hotel. The architecture and interior is truly wonderful, the staff, the breakfast, the pool, just everything was fab. And importantly calm and sanctuary like, when in a busy city I could easily have spent the day by the pool here if Porto hadn’t been calling.

Rooms are not well soundproofed — you can hear conversations from reception, guests in the hallway, and even the phone ringing. Since the window faces the hallway, it adds to the noise. It’s also inconvenient having to keep ringing the bell to get into the hotel, and sometimes there’s no one around. Last time, we had to wait about 15 minutes before being let in. Not the most quiet or seamless experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Tipografia do Conto. From the warm welcome from the staff and helpful city recommendations to the beautiful apartment and wonderful breakfast, everything was perfect. Robert was able to help book us a tour and also Gave us great dining options. The hotel is a few blocks away from the over crowded city center but a quick walk if you want to be in the middle of the action. The street was quiet and we met so many other friendly travelers there too which made it fun! The staff is truly amazing and we hope to return one day soon!

The hotel is in a great location. The staff were very welcoming right from the start. It felt more like staying in a beautiful home, rather than a hotel. With only 10 rooms, several beautiful indoor sitting areas, a bar, gorgeous outdoor dining area and a pool in a relaxing garden, it was tempting to stay in and not go exploring! Our room was very comfortable and well appointed.Also, the buffet breakfast was exceptional.

The fridge in the room wasn’t cold enough, water leaked from shower, door did not auto close when u left the room, it was sticking on the floor

This is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff is super friendly and just amazing. No question was too much. And their tips for everything and anything Porto were incredible. The room was nice and clean, the bed could have been a bit bigger but that's personal preference. Breakfast was delicious! And did I already mentioned the unbelievable staff? :) Oh and then you have the pool, the bar,...
