- The staff were absolutely lovely. They did everything they could to be of assistance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
- The price and parking was the only thing that was good
- - Clean and tidy- Well located- friendly staff
Cons -
- Room located in the lower level. Damp smelling. Difficult with asthma.
- I prefer a fridge in the room which it did not have. Not a deal breaker though.
- Location was not good there is nothing around ..you have to take a bus or metro to the city if not you are walking an hour up and down hills ... The room was in a basement and had mold and was very small ..also although they do allow pets they give you rules including that you can not leave your pet in the hotel when you go out ..aka. to eat or whatever you always have to take your pet with you . Very disappointing and misleading

- Clean and tidy- Well located- friendly staff
- our bathroom ventilator didn't work so there was some unpleasant smell- vending machine only worked with coins
Nice staff. Little, tiny hotel with great services.
I missed a desk and a chair. Also, coat hangers should have been in the room.
Very modern and clean. People friendly.
At check in the their Credit card machine did not work and we had to draw cash from an ATM which cost us a whole lot more money with the Exchange and ATM fees. This should not have been our issue as our credit cards worked everywhere else. Friendly staff but a little more ability to speak English is needed.
The Rua de Costa Cabral is located in the northwest of the city center. In contrast to some of the reviews on this page, this is not very close to the city center. The Campanha train station is around three kilometers away, the historic center five kilometers. No breakfast.
The decor of the hotel is nice, which was a deciding factor in the choice: nice bathroom, nice room furnishings, coffee maker, microwave, fridge. The hotel is located in a converted, completely renovated former residential building. As many rooms as possible were built in. We were first given a room in the basement, with a cellar-like mini window that looked like a prison. When we asked for another room, we were given the room next to the reception on the second floor, two meters above the busy street. The noise is constant, even at night. It is not possible to open the window at night, and the bathroom, room and air are correspondingly stuffy. If we were still in the room in the morning, we left the window open, with corresponding noise. The fridge is not usable because it also hums. We had our own cool box with us, which we put in the bathroom. The coffee machine is not usable because no coffee or tea is provided. There was a layer of dust on all the shelves, including the fridge. The room and beds were otherwise clean. The room was cleaned well on request. In general, the shortcomings are probably not due to the staff, who are basically friendly and helpful, but can do little. Our stay lasted four nights. The shower was hot on the first evening. After that, there was no hot water. After several complaints, the water was slightly warm again on the third evening after two days of cold water. In the morning of the last day it was no longer hot. I was about to ask for another room when it was still quite warm in the course of the morning...These things are annoying and cost vacation time. The accommodation is absolutely not recommended. It's better to pay more and get something satisfactory instead of constant frustration. Various reviews mentioned breakfast or “breakfast in the room”. This is not correct. The hotel does not offer breakfast. There is a lounge with vending machines. Things have to be paid for. Narrow drive way to the back parking. Shower small and look like it needed repairs.
Easy to find. No problem at check-in.
No window in the room. The curtains are just hiding a wall. A coffee machine but no coffee capsules. Tea cups but no tea kettle.
Personal extremely friendly and helpful. Beds are pretty good.
Room had no windows and fridge malfunctioned
This hotel is not in the center, but this location suited our needs. An Uber to the center is only around 5 euro. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Our room was on the bottom floor and it did not have a window! There was also a strong musty smell. The room was very small, you could barely walk around the beds.
Comfy place for short stay, staff is kind. 15 min from the airport by car. Clean rooms. Reasonable price.
Not to much opportunity to eat out or shopping around the hotel.
good value for money & nice neighborhood on the edge of city center but close to public transport
The hotel is relatively new and there is some smell of mould (at least in the floor I stayed in)
The hotel is very safe, I traveled alone so that was an important thing for me. It’s really close to the bus station (just in front of the hotel) and the subway is 8-10 minutes walk. The personal was really nice with me.The room had everything you need in a trip. It was cozy and you have enough room for everything you got on your trip. There are two supermarkets close to the hotel if needed.

The best I can say is for Joachim, just "simply the best" and must be an example for all persons working in Hotel business in general, this Guy is ever smiling and helping, it was a pleasure to meet this person, of course all other employees are vers nice and professionnal. Thanks to all the team.
The entrance of the parking, just complicated if you got a big car, hopefully we can maneuver the car in the street to adjust the perfect direction to go inside the parking, people driving in the street are understandable, Portugese good vibe probably ?
It was a block away from where my son lived so the location was adequate. It was also pretty close to the metro station and several nice restaurants in the area. Very quiet and clean neighborhood. Everything was as we expected :)
Rooms were small but it's Europe after all ;)
Clean and spacious, very kind staff
Very noisy because of the street
The parking was good for us as we were on motorcycles and it was off the street private parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful, helping us to get a taxi to proto city centre. This was about 9 euros and a short trip.
WiFi signal was poor and didn't reach my room. Had to sit in the lobby to use it.
Clean and tidy. We found it really helpful the room had a microwave. Easy to catch metro or bus into the city
The narrow drive to get into the car park was tricky
Personnel were kind and teued to help.
The room was next to street and reception and absolutely every noise could be heard. We basically did not sleep due to street noise and receptionist The bathroom stunk. They had terrible sewage and ot was intoxicating. Totally disappointed to have paid that much and such a bad location.
