⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful family stayWe stayed 3 nights in January 2026 as a family with our 11-year-old daughter.This trip was a special reward for her top academic achievement, and the hotel made it truly unforgettable with a lovely gift, a congratulatory note, and delicious cakes and pastries prepared especially for her.The staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive to every detail.Our room on the 3rd floor had a beautiful street view facing the theatre and was very comfortable and perfectly sized.A special thank you to Mrs. Conceição for her warmth, kindness, and dedication — she truly made us feel at home.Excellent breakfast, a great gym with a coffee machine next to it, and an outstanding location.We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The staff when we arrived was so welcoming- a glass of port wine and water waiting. In your room we had a bottle of port wine and a beautiful desert! It was a wonderful stay and breakfast was amazing!!

Phenomenal staff, continental breakfast, food and wine!!! Facility was so conveniently located near everything. The shower was amazing! The view out of the upper floor was beautiful!

I had difficulty sleeping as the mattress was extremely firm. Maybe a mattress topper would help.

The location of the property was very good.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, however the room was exceptional and big enough.

Front staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was fantastic and service, especially from Patricia Portugal (yes, that's really her name!). The cafe was in a beautiful historic room and really convenient after a long day of sight seeing. Room was very comfortable and was even a traditional Portuguese Christmas cake waiting in our room. We were also invited to a manager's reception, but unfortunately we already had other plans. At checkout we also received the traditional Portuguese tarts. You could tell their attention to detail as they surprised a woman at the table next to us with a birthday cake. They must have noted that when she checked in with her passport.

Location. Reception staff and Housekeeping Staff stood out.Left the hotel early and had a breakfast box prepared for us which was a lovely touch.

No Bar. Disappointing that had to sit in the Dining room to enjoy a drink.

Coffee at breakfast wasn't good

Nice room and good location for exploring the city. Front desk staff were helpful and welcoming. Most restaurant staff were also excellent but we did have one meal that didn't quite live up to the generally high standards of service, although the food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent.

- no coffee maker in the room (only Nescafe instant coffee), and the only coffee available on room service outside of restaurant hours was black espresso.- congested lifts in the morning meant having to call the lifts multiple times as they were all full. - slightly poor service in the restaurant on one occasion - only 3 main courses on the menu, and one was sold out. We had to ask twice for the wine, and when it arrived they tried to serve us something that was not what we ordered. Then they had to tell us that the wine we ordered was sold out.

The location was very good close to everything restaurants,coffee shops,shopping..The breakfast was great too with many varieties of food.

Excellent facilities, comfortable bed, fantastic room, unbeatable location
