Porto Spot Hostel

Staffs always very helpful. Daily buffet breakfast is plentiful and fresh. They keep the whole area super clean. They even provide daily maid service which is unexpected for a hostel! My twin room with private bathroom was very nice ¿¿

We were assigned the first floor but it¿s not a full floor above ground and faced the Main Street and it¿s noisy and also must close windows as pedestrians can see through our room!

It was safe, clean, well situated and good value for my money

The only thing I didn’t like is that there were no separate changing rooms from the showers, so it was always wet to change in the morning

The sheet and the bed was clean. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.

There was no shower towel that I could buy. The building was quietly cold. They call “breakfast included” but it is only bread and cheese, that’s all. Also they expect me to wash my dishes after the breakfast. There was one or two toilets in the bathroom for all people on the same floor.

The location is good near the metro station. The staff were really friendly and answered all the questions I had.

The pillows were a little uncomfortable. I didn’t like how the entrance to the shower facilities didn’t have a lock to them. I wish they had individual showers with locked doors. I was using the woman’s washroom to get ready in the morning and then a man came out of the washroom.

Hostel was easy to find. Not far from many tourist attractions. Breakfast was included which was really appreciated. I didn't interact much with other people in the hostel but it looked like there were many opportunities to mingle and hang out with people.

The only grievance was with the staff. The guy at the desk was unfriendly, didn't smile or interact courteously. Perhaps he didn't understand me as sometimes I speak quickly but it appeared he was unhappy with his job as when I asked for help with my phone charger he seemed to be inconvenienced by my request. Later on that weekend, the receptionist was better but still not that friendly as one would expect when staying in a hostel.

I loved this place until i experienced bed bugs attack me all over my body. This is the worst thing that I scared the most and it happened to me ?

Well located, clean, comfortable, all the necessities.

Clean, near to everything, ppl so nice and friendly, i highly recommend it!

One thing: towels are paid.

Porto spot hostel was the best in every aspect, the staff, the hostel neat and clean, toilets and washroom was clean and comfortable as well the breakfast was good and included in that price, overall it was a good experience with porto spot hostel.

The location is very convenient, the hostel is warm and welcoming. You can leave your bags in the lockers before and after checkin time. There is a nice breakfast service.

There is no curtain for the beds :(((

Bathrooms were well kept and sufficient numbers of toilets and showers. Breakfast was great with toast, fruit. coffee and kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, knives, etc.

Can't communicate directly AT ALL....no one answers phone, email, whatsapp...so once you can't send anyone anything with questions, arrival details. etc. nor will anyone answer questions about availability, facilities, etc. Seems all booking, questions, etc are all exclusively via booking.com.

Proximity to the city center and to the metro station with the airport connection. A nice bar and an open-air terrace. The rooms and bathrooms were clean

The staff are wonderful, the hostel is clean with a great atmosphere, and they organize fun tours. The large lockers under the beds are really convenient too.

There are no curtains around the beds, and the breakfast is quite basic (mainly cereals, breads, cakes, and cheese) — it could benefit from a few more options.

The bathrooms were always wet; especially by the sinks ; and the floors were wet; a bit of a slipping hazard

Location, location, location! A lovely hostel with a warm vibe and good value for your buck:)

The mattress was well worn in so in need of replacement.
