The staff - front office, restaurant, housekeeping, trek are very helpful and patient. The property itself is huge and well built and maintained. The food at the restaurant was generally very good. The guides who took us to the Periyar forest were very knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms were well kept, large and comfortable.

Like any resort some things take time to accomplish

Very expensive and ayurveda services were expensive and not too great.Even the new year eve wasnt upto the mark.We ended up sleeping in the room.

So many types of trees and plants. Fabulous food and tribal hut with 5 star facilities.

Just ask them to allot a hut towards forest side.

It is an amazing property, thoughtfully designed to be in harmony with nature. There is a good variety of trees throughout the premises, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are exceptional—Anoop, Azad, and others ensured that our stay went smoothly without any hitches. They also offer a great breakfast spread.Location is also good, as it is just 5-mins walk from the centre.

Just beautiful eco friendly hotel all types of trees from fruit to cinnamon tamarind mango spices.

BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, LUNCH AND DINNER ALSO. EVENING HIGH TEA WAS NOT GOOD. ONE CANNOT CALL IT HIGH TEA.

BED WAS VERY SOFT. SO, IF YOU SUFFER FROM BACK PROBLEM, PLEASE AVOID THIS RESORT. I SLEPT ON THE FLOOR ALL THE THREE NIGHTS. HIGH TEA IS NOT HIGH TEA AT ALL. ROOM SIZE IS SMALL

Such a warm friendly perfectly sized resort. Wonderfully friendly staff a great space for the perfect unwind. We loved the complimentary cooking demos and paper making. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Everything was perfect

Breakfast was well laid out with many options. The staff was attentive and had smiles on their faces.

They need to make sure the air conditioners in the rooms work prior to guests arriving!

The guide - Ashly - and all other staff and naturalists went the extra Nile and provided extraordinary support and guidance. Highly recommended location

Nice old fashion place, animals around, nice shows

Extraordinary experience in one of the nicest hotels I have ever been. An example in sustainability coupled with luxury. From the organic garden, the water saving plant, the 50 mile radius of all of the food used, and the beauty of the huge place & numerous trees, and all the little things that remind us how precious our earth is. Thank you

Staff were charming.

Rooms and bathroom very basic for the amount charged. Food mediocre. This is supposed to be a luxury resort but it should not try to punch above its weight.

Chill, beautiful location, very peaceful. The staff were incredibly helpful. The food tasted much better than at our other hotels. We particularly liked the monkeys and pheasants that lived on the property. The pillow for sleeping was perfect.

We didn't like our massage.

This was the most comfortable stay we’ve ever had. The hospitality, service, focus on sustainability, activities, and spa were all amazing.The property was so peaceful that we often spotted Indian giant squirrels, langurs, and exotic birds. It’s clear the animals feel at home here, which shows just how calm and welcoming the place is.

Beautiful setting in large garden environment where all the plants have been identified. All very peaceful, and guinea fowl running around added to the serene feel. Lovely pool area with lots of lounges. Location at one end of town and in walking distance to cultural centre and boat pickup point. Very friendly staff. Great bar with all beverages and lovely cocktails.

Chairs on hut balcony could be more comfortable but it’s a minor concern.
