About

Set just on the edge of Santa Maria di Castellabate, Palazzo Belmonte provides a seafront location with 5 acres of gardens, its own private and sandy beach. Free WiFi is available throughout. Stroll past flowers and vegetation to Palazzo Belmonte's swimming pool, where you can enjoy views of Capri and the Amalfi Coast, with drinks and lunch available from the poolside bar. A meal service with a private chef is also available on request, and in summer breakfast is served by the pool. The entrance to Palazzo Belmonte's private beach is set a few steps below the property. There are also several terraces. Santa Maria di Castellabate center is 3-minute walk away and professional staff at Palazzo Belmonte's reception will provide tourist information or book your tours. A 24-hour concierge service is also available. The Palazzo, dating back to 1700, develops horizontally in a private park of approximately 3 hectares, there are several buildings with rooms and suites and the distances to reach the services, bar, swimming pool, beach are the same from any accommodations. The rooms are distributed between Casa Edoardo, the historic building, and the Villas of the Park, two structures of more recent construction. There are stairs to reach all services. There are no elevators. We inform you that the Palazzo Belmonte structure is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties. In some periods Palazzo Belmonte hosts events such as weddings, birthday parties etc. with live music until 01.00. If the events still represent a nuisance for you, it is advisable, when booking, to contact the reception to find out if an event will take place on the stay dates you have chosen. Standard rooms vary in size, location and view. Not all of them have a small terrace, and none of them have a sea view

We ended up upgrading our room to the main building and this room was wonderful. The outdoor breakfast location was very nice.Enjoyed the direct access to the beach and the use of the sun loungers. It was nice to have a short stroll into town where there was a good choice of restaurants.Having driven there by car it was good to have free parking onsite.

The views from our original room which faced the ancient garden wall.

This is a beautiful property with a lot of history. I wished we had paid for rooms in the main Palazzo instead of the. I’ll as - that was very atmospheric. Gorgeous grounds. Helpful staff. One of the best breakfasts we had on our entire 3 week trip! Located right near the main beach and the restaurant/bar/shopping area. The room terrace was lovely. Bar and breakfast staff lovely.

Their beach was filled with our clubs right next to you, not like the photo. Filled with seaweed; knee high! The main town beaches were not like this. Our bathroom was under the eaves and had a very narrow bath shower with not very good pressure.weddings were happening in many areas around our room, we had not been informed in advance. Pool Guy was completely disinterested in helping us on our first time to that area, didn’t look up didn’t offer towels didn’t ask if we needed a drink didn’t tell us where the beach was. Stayed on his phone. Driveway was not lit for our walk I to town (they do acknowledge this) but it was clear how we got to the villa to access the lot path from our rooms.Room needs an update but overall lovely faded glamour.

Sensational location overlooking the sea. Short walk to pool and beach. Delicious breakfast on the terrace with wide variety of fresh baked breads, fresh fruit etc.

    Airconditioning did not work well.

    Grounds, beachfront, historic building.

    6SandraPosted on: 9-3-2024

Location was good and a beautiful building and surrounding.

Loungers by the pool were not enough. The toiletries in the bathroom were scarce. Only a general soap/gel. Charging for eggs at breakfast.

    Location and calmness

Loud Music at the pool disturbing the peaceful setting coming from other properties but could be heard loudly. Lots of focus on wedding taking place so also detracted from the holidaying guests .

    10FionaPosted on: 7-2-2024

Peaceful and relaxed ambience, beautiful gardens, direct access to the private section of beach, the historic Palazzo buildings, our spacious garden villa room with balcony overlooking the sea, friendly and helpful staff, and the range of choice for continental breakfast on the attractive terrace overlooking the sea.

It would have been nice to have had tea and coffee making facilities in our room - English style!

    10MelissaPosted on: 7-1-2024

Beautiful grounds and the location is perfect for enjoying everything in the local S.M Castellabate area. The private beach is so convenient. There was lots of choice on offer at the breakfast buffet and the setting over looking the beach was the perfect way to start the day. The staff were genuinely friendly and very helpful.

Wonderfully peaceful setting. Our garden room with sea view was lovely. Great pool and bar area where breakfast was served overlooking the sea. Light lunches were very good too. The private beach with towels and sun beds was a treat! Hotel is walking distance to bars & restaurants. Highly recommended!

This is truly the nicest place we’ve ever stayed, it was our honeymoon and was perfect. Facilities are amazing, sandy beach, excellent breakfast, incredibly comfortable room with amazing views - we were blown away. Can’t recommend this place highly enough

Friendly and service minded staff. Beautiful garden and buildings. Nice beach.

Not functional air condition in room.

The location of the property is Suberb as one has direct access to beach and pool and within 200 meters of the town . The grounds are beautifully kept with lovely lemon trees and vines along with trees and flowers and rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and food very good

    10JenniferPosted on: 5-2-2024

Beautiful building in a beautiful garden oasis with private access to the beach. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable.Breakfast options were also good, with gluten free options too.Staff were very accommodating at all times. Would highly recommend.

My only criticism is that the room should have better options in the mini-bar (not very curated with no alcoholic options or snacks). The tea / coffee selection was also a little poor considering we had booked a suite. (It really should have a Nespresso machine or something of the sort for a 4-star hotel).

Fantastic hotel, beautiful setting, quaint and tastefully decorated. Beautiful grounds, amazing views

We had an amazing two days stay in this historic hotel. The veiw from our room was beautiful and the open fire was comforting while a winter storm raged outside. Being the only guests staying in this rambling palace felt surreal. We used it as a base to see Paestum ruins (only 25 mins away). The owner Francesca was warm and welcoming .. would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone. We hope to return one day and see it in the sunshine.
