Cons -
- Before I even get started on the room, the staff at this location is extremely rude. The majority of people we dealt with were nice, but two of the men were so rude that they overshadowed the other staff. Let’s start with the front desk person. He was a middle-age gentleman with glasses and he wasn’t particularly rude initially. However, one afternoon my wife and I came back from visiting the town and I asked him for fresh towels. He gave me such a hard time and stated that the only way to get fresh towels was from the cleaning staff in the morning, but since I put a do not disturb sign up, I missed the opportunity to get fresh towels. I was so confused because I couldn’t understand why he couldn’t just give me a set of fresh towels, but he kept arguing with me and saying that I had to wait until tomorrow to get fresh towels from the staff. Finally, after going back and forth, he said he didn’t have the keys to the towel closet, but that he’d try and get the key from his co worker. He said he would bring me fresh towels in a few minutes. It took him almost an hour to finally come to my door at which point he rudely handed the towels to me and stormed off. The next night we came home from being out on the town and walked into the lobby to see the same gentleman yelling at the top of his lungs at a patron. It sounded like the patron booked a room, but for some reason, it didn’t show up in the hotel system. Who knows, the patron might’ve been rude or wouldn’t take no for an answer, but that’s no excuse for a staff member to aggressively yell at a patron. I’m talking top of his lungs yelling. The man who staffs the pool area was also very rude. I approached him at one point to ask how much a couple items cost and he wasn’t pleasant or friendly at all. No smiling, frowning at me, and answering with one word answers. I would gladly spend a couple hundred more bucks to stay somewhere else. I should’ve listened to the other reviews.
- Next to main road, sometimes can hear the cars.
- Shower was not good. Rooms were old and staff was not very friendly

Clean and looks new.
Next to main road, sometimes can hear the cars.
Breakfast exceeded my expectations. Lot of choices and good quality
Shower was not good. Rooms were old and staff was not very friendly
It was is a perfect spot accessible to everything and very close to the train station. The breakfast staff was very kind and friendly.
We did not have a refrigerator and they did not have a bucket for ice. We brought them a plastic bag and they put the ice in that.
great location, large room, great breakfast, lovely pool with a lemon garden.
it would have been nice to have access to mini fridge.
Convenient location walking to the train station and port. Also the breakfast selection was very good.
No small fridge in room and you can’t control air conditioner temperature in your hotel room. It was freezing cold at night. The shower controls are very sensitive for hot and cold.
The location was great. The pool was nice. We were on a higher floor so the view was good. Bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. Breakfast was simple yet good.
It is an older building but needs some maintenance and cleaning to improve its charm.
The location was nice close to train station
Air conditioner turned off when you left the room and took the key out of main power source. Toilet ran long after flushing the toilet.
The location sells this hotel, right on the Main Street of Sorrento. Close to the beach and food restaurants. Nice pool area.
However, due to being on the main road the noise was inescapable. Could not sit on the balcony due to noise and traffic fumes. Walls in the hotel also really thin, could hear people next door talking and furniture moving. Do not waste your time eating snack bar food.
The location was great. Close to restaurants and train station and bus stop. Pool area was nice. Breakfast was good with options to make fresh omelettes etcBreakfast and housekeeping staff were friendly.
Rooms do not have mini fridges and they were not available for rent either. Property is older and rooms are very dated with broken towel and toilet paper holders. Threadbare draperies. Front desk and pool staff not very friendly. We stayed 4 nights.
Rude staff
the staff did not understand the mistake with the booking and charged me 220€ and then was very rude when I tried to explain again how it happened
I enjoyed my room with balcony, it was a good size, had everything I need including very effective airconditioner. Loved having the pool for the times I needed to chill. Brilliant location; short walk to train and bus station and the main restuarant shopping area. Breakfast were good.
One rude male receptionist.
The pool and location
The room was tiny. Some of the staff were rude. The air condition was constantly being turned off
It was in a good location.
Rooms were outdated and small
It was actually conveniently located to train/bus station. Short walk to port.
Room had no microwave or fridge.
Pool is great. Food at the pool is good and very affordable. Breakfast is good as well.
No fridge in the room. TV is very small. Called the front desk to get fresh towels and was told they can only change towels once a day in the morning. Booked a balcony room, but they made a mistake and gave it to someone else.
Breakfast; Pool; Pool staff!
Thought price was bit high!
Excellent location, only 20 mins walk from town/ Sorrento centre. Great pool with bar. Nice breakfast.
Room was very small and no bar fridge in room to keep drinks cold. Pool food not great.
Perfect location to tour Amalfi coast. They arranged private transport to/from airport which was a big help. Very nice staff at the front desk, especially Elena. Pool and cafe were awesome to relax between day touring and evening activities.
