Hotel Florida

The location was very nice. The room was big with a cosy balcony. The cleaning staff was so flexible and nice and waited until we left the room at different times in the morning! The reception staff were very helpful and friendly!

The bed was too hard for me! I thought it was a bit far away from the city center, but if you like to walk, it was perfect!

Breakfast was wonderful. It offered a wide arrange of options, Fresh Fruit, pastry, Vegetables, eggs coffee (expresso, cappuccino, americano. Nothing was missing. Very clean and comfortable.

Great location. It's a 20 minute walk into sorrento but a beautiful one. Service was great.

That i didn't get to stay longer

Very comfortable and clean. The lemon grove was a beautiful place to relax away from the crowds of Sorrento in peak season.

Excellent staff. They have a great kitchen, delicious food - best value for money.

The pool and garden area was gorgeous Breakfast was fresh and plentiful The staff were pleasant and helpful

The location was perfect, 20 minute walk to the beach and to the center , also the bus and train station near by

Green oasis with lemon tree terasse in the city. Very helpful and nice staff, nice breakfast and this amazing Terasse next to the pool. Great rooms - great idea to come here!

We liked the location and enjoyed the walk into town. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food served in the restaurant was excellent and very convenient when we preferred to eat in. There was a great little cafe around the corner which served excellent coffee and delicious croissants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel to others.

Being a tea drinker I would love to have had a kettle in the room.

Breakfast was very good. Bathroom and shower were excellent.

The constant noise variation from the a/c that was switched off.

Really lovely hotel, had a great stay here. The bar staff were really friendly and the restaurant did a delicious lunch. Pool was great and everything was clean. We had a huge balcony which was amazing.

A couple of negative things that could hopefully be easily fixed: 1.)The night manager was horrendous. He seemed completely uninterested in being helpful, most of the time when we came in at night, he was too busy watching football on his screen to even say hello. On our last night my mum had just fallen in the street (she fractured her foot) and managed to make it back to the hotel in a lot of pain - he wouldn’t even help us get ice or a first aid kit. He literally just said ‘bar’ and pointed out the window. Super unhelpful and unkind in a very stressful situation. The other staff were great, so it’s just a shame that he ruined the overall welcoming atmosphere with his attitude. 2)Worth noting that although it says room service on booking.com the night manager said you could only get things from the bar. Would have been useful to have a kettle in the room so we could make hot drinks there instead of having to carry the tray back and forth. 3) it’s fine we didn’t have new towels everyday but a few times the cleaner took our damp towels and re folded them on top of each other…so they didn’t dry and we had no idea whose were whose.

Beautiful pool and bar area. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Great location in a quiet area within easy walking distance of the centre, train station and port. Lovely restaurants and bars nearby. Ate at the hotel a couple of times, amazing food very delicious. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.

The hotel was in a really great location. A short bus ride to main town. Some very nice restaurants near by with great sea views. The hotel was very clean. It had a wonderful pool and bar area. Lovely breakfasts. Very good evening meals. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and gave good advice on best ways to travel around and any trips we wanted to make.

Really loved our stay at Hotel Florida. The staff were all very welcoming and would go out of their way to help you. The rooms were spotless and just the right size and as expectedBreakfast was great and accommodated for most dietary requirements. The onsite restaurant was also very good for lunch by the pool. They do open for evening meals but we did have an opportunity to eat there in the evening.The pool area is just perfect, lovely sized pool with a shallow area for kids and a lovely seating area with Jacuzzi jets at the other end. There were plenty of sun beds and shade provided by the lemon and orange trees. It is also right next to the bar so you can enjoy a cold cocktail and ice cream when it gets too warm. The added bonus was pizza night which is cooked fresh in a Wood fired oven. One of the best pizzas we had during our stay and amazing value.

Lovely hotel, swimming pool, poolside bar,. family friendly, balcony, staff were very helpful. Used this hotel for all the family (12 people) for accommodation for our wedding in Sorrento

There were quite a few ants in our room

Lovely staff and hotel, pool very clean. Room lovely and clean. Location good but bit of a walk into town on a hot day.

The only negative was it seemed expensive for what it was. I have stayed in many hotels and this seemed too pricey. However it was peak season and if the demand is there then fair play.
